Reading Document Disaster Relief Plan

When studying a course, I am prone to a great deal of highlighting,  However, I change my mind a lot, which means I undo highlights, redo them, switch them up, fiddle with colors, etc.  Unfortunately, that creates havoc with the Readings Document.  I end up with broken blue readings lines on the left and annoying little yellow post-it notes all over my nice course reading.

Question:

Is there a way to refresh the Reading Document without risking loss of all my notes and highlights?

The only way to refresh them is to delete and download again. I never make notes or highlights in the reading document note file. i do this in a separate note file so if I need to delete and redownload the Reading Document note file I don’t loose any of my own work because like you I often fiddle with my highlight.

Of course.  Wish I had thought of that long ago. Asking is always a good thing.  Thanks, Doc,  for the great idea.
