Verbum for lay people ...
In the forums, the question of Logos for lay people came up again (see How about a video of a Bible Study facilitator/member using Logos - Logos Forums.) Which made me think of a great Verbum initiative (see RCIA | Verbum). Which made me think of the main obstacles for using Verbum in small groups: * the loss of the…

What I didn't know ... what resources would help me learn about ...
Yes, my parish had a retired charismatic priest and the president of the state organization for charismatic Catholics as an active member, but I had no idea of the size of the movement. What charismatic Catholic resources are or should be available in Verbum?

Reading Plans - Morning and Evening Psalter according to the 1662 BCP
Thought I would share two reading plans I recently created, one for the morning, one for the evening. Together they cover the entirety of the Psalter according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Why? Because the 1662 BCP is not yet included in the Logos lectionary feature, and even if it was, you might just want to read…

Is there a way to make Verbum only download and install Verbum resources?
I have posted this question in the Logos tips and tricks Facebook group and it was suggested I ask here. I have both Logos and Verbum installed and both have all of my resources in them, so 2 x >80GB of resources. I would like to know if I can make Verbum only download and install Catholic/Verbum resources and leave Logos…

Words overlapping other words
I just had an update on this book that I didn't realize I had. Opened it up and found this. I'm guessing this is not normal From the ebook - Discover the Mystery of Faith mm.

Problem: Text overlapping text
Discover the Mystery of Faith has been "updated" today. However some text is superimposed on other text. Perhaps this can be recompiled or whatever to rectify this issue? Thanks for attending to this issue FL staff.

Liturgical commentaries
I was surprised to note find these requested. Liturgical commentaries are among the most accessible commentaries for Catholic preachers to use when preparing to preach. Verbum has a few of them, but the most important and well-known ones--the ones I find universally on the shelves of priests across the country--are…

eBooks: Reading page by page rather than infinite scroll
Is there a setting in the Faithlife eBooks iPad app where I can read one page at a time rather than in infinite scroll? I find I read faster when I read a full "page" and then tap the side of the screen to turn to the next "page".

Geographical availablity
Not sure if it's a system error, but a lot of books in my Faithlife ebooks wish lists are suddenly showing as not available in my region. I hope this is just a system error and not publishers removing Logos' ability to supply resources outside the USA.

Ellen White Reading Plans (Chapter by Chapter)
I am assuming that this will be fixed in the updated Logos version of EGW's writings, but for now, they are not very compatible with the Reading Plans feature. If you try to auto generate a reading plan for a EGW book, it will divide it up by page number instead of by chapter, which is not very helpful. It doesn't make…

Missing Covers in EEC
On May 1, 2020 Jake told us about the new artwork for the Evangelical Exegetical Commentary. We are coming up on two years and I still don't have the artwork on my desktop. There's absolutely no reason for this. We have a new CEO. We have a new General Editor. Could somebody please do whatever you need to do to make my EEC…

Is there a section we can report spelling errors?
Reading J.C. Ryle’s commentary on Mark 11:27-33, and there is a spelling error. The sentence says “The plain truth is that we ought to he very slow to give credit” and it should say that “we ought to be very slow”.

English Annotations of the Old and New Testaments by the Westminster Divines
Apparently a massive compilation of the Westminster Divines. The Reformation Commentary on Scripture cites from this work frequently. It was edited by John Downame. Abbey Psalms & Canticles - why just a reader edition?
I'm glad to see that the Abbey Psalms & Canticles finally made its way into Verbum (after the USCCB purchased the rights to the Rev. Grail Psalms a few years back). I've been reading in the ACNA Catechism. It has references to individual entries of the 39 Articles. The references are taken from the book "The Anglican Tradition: A Handbook of Sources." SUGGESTION Oxford Studies in Analytic Theology

New Authors: Self-publishing
