I bought this resource.  The notes are excellent.

    A few questions:

    - What is the best way to alert Logos Support about errors in the resource?  I notice the notes for the book of Proverbs are all off -- the notes are not connected to the correct verses in the NJB.  I also noticed that not some verses are missing cola when they appear in the text comparison feature.  An example is Psalm 25.

    - Is there any way that Logos can hyperlink the cross-references?  There are so many verses cited as cross-references but no way to read the actual verses except by writing them down and looking them up manually.  So very pre-Logos...

    I'll take a look thanks.

The new Logos NJB notes aren't workable with any other translations (or the ealier NJB). Maybe your intent, due to the incoming digital file?

But the notes don't even work with the new NJB. On the mobile, a connected split screen (text/notes), clicking on a note-letter bounces to the note (good), but then re-sets the originating NJB to the chapter beginning (latest mobile Logos and ios).

Do you use a normal testing suite before release?

This is by design. Unlike many other Study Bibles, the notes portion of the resource doesn't have verse level milestones. It only uses chapter level milestones.

Could this be the reason why I experience difficulties/instability in the multiple resources view? NET with multiple view with another Bible seems to work fine.

Refund time. I don't need my NJB to pop back to the start of the chapter, every time I read a note. Logos needs to think harder.

I would prefer that it jump back to the beginning of the verse containing the note indicator. But this is why I refuse to call the NJB Notes a "Study Bible" ... they are not tied to verses but rather to a footnote indicator. This is not a situation that Logos is used to dealing wiith.

I agree. Their first mistake was to separate the notes from the text, without first ascertaining what would happen next.

I'll get my refund, but the product as is, is not usable on the mobile platform (using the really well written notes). I can't imagine this happening on a major 'protestant' Bible.

Are you telling us that the original hard copy only had notes at the chapter level?  [[that is with no way to tell what verse it went with?]]

The original only had the footnote indicators. It was produced to use with the text and notes side by side in a manner similar to the Lutheran Apocrypha study Bible were Logos had to produce the text (ESV apocrypha) as well as the Notes.

The problem is the lack of a common index so that they can be treated as a linked set or multi-resource pane.

Currently it looks like it is best to have the text and notes side by side, without any synchronizing (by using the the letters nor multiple view).

It may be that they fixed something overnight, the NJB text was updated.
