I have what used to be Logos Now for 99.95 a year. I mainly use it for Faithlife TV. Will this continue to be a part of the new subscription?
Is Faithlife TV still a thing? It's been a bit since I've used it.
Would you look at that! I second this question to Mark. I hope it sticks around in some form or another.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE could we have the option in Faithlife TV to ONLY view courses/videos we own? And to ONLY search in ones we own, rather than searching for "Romans" and the first several pages of them are full of random people's church services on Romans, rather than the course you paid money for and are trying to watch?????????

Hi! Thank you for the upgrades for Connect subscribers! That's awesome! I've been subscribing Logos features since 2017 (Logos Now). These new Logos subscription options are even better.
Faithlife Connect + several Base Packages + Luther's Works, etc.

Indeed. That was unexpected but reflects strong loyalty to their customers. As I was considering how I wanted to move forward with Logos, this came in. I've been using this for many years, and with God's grace I will continue to do so for many more.

I'm just confused. Im a grandfathered Logos NOW customer. My renewal of $99 is in February yearly, and its listed in my Subscriptions to do so again in Feb 2025. However, I was charged $54.36 on 8/7/2024 for" Faithlife Connect Essentials (formerly Logos Now) + Logos Pro (early access) - Annual"
Is this an additonal repeating charge, and will Is till get charged $99 in February?
What plan am I on/put on now?
What am I losing/gaining?

Thanks for bringing this up, Stuart. I was also charged but did not order anything. I'm eager to find out about this before calling customer support.

I would also like a little more explanation on how the charge actually happened. I have a 99 dollar connect renewal in may. I had also been paying 9.99 a month for the new AI stuff. then I changed it to the 129$ for the new plan. Then the announcement was made that it would all happen by itself and my renewal date would get extended based on how much time was left on connect. but that didn't seem to happen. on top of that, I went back to my order history and could tell that there were some kind of adjustments made post purchase but it was some kinda math that I couldn't follow.

Great to hear this, thaks!
Can anyone suggest if there's any value in me purchasing "Logos 10 Full Feature Upgrade" if I intend to stick with the Logos Now (connect?) subscription for the foreseeable future?
It's quite cheap at the moment at $92. Will I miss out on any subscription savings if I don't purchase? If I decide to opt out of a subscription in the future will I have no chance of buying the Logos 10 features?
Edit: Also what will the price difference be between Logos Now/Connect and Logos Pro subscription?
And I assume if I canceled my Now/Connect subscription for any length of time, I'd permanently lose the better price?"Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person." - Colossians 4:6

As I understand it, "Connect" will be going away sometime before the end of the year. I have been a Now/Connect subscriber since day one and Logos customer service told me that when Connect ceases to exist, they will automatically transfer the balance of my subscription $$ over to a Logos Pro subscription (which I could change to Max if I wanted to).
Additionally, Logos customer service told me that since I owned the Logos 10 data sets, that I would receive the lowest price on the Logos Pro subscription (which for me was $99.95 based on the annual subscription -- the same price I was paying for Now).
A friend of mine has Logos 8 Silver, and it was cheaper for him to purchase the Logos 10 data sets AND (then) sign up for Logos Pro, than it was to subscribe to Logos Pro having only Logos 8 Silver.
However, Logos is only offering the opportunity to purchase the Logos 10 data sets at a reduced price through the first week of September.

NathanL, I am by no means the last word on this matter, but you are able to get a clear explanation of your personal position with respect to this issue from customer service.NathanL said:Can anyone suggest if there's any value in me purchasing "Logos 10 Full Feature Upgrade" if I intend to stick with the Logos Now (connect?) subscription for the foreseeable future?
You can gain insight by visiting your Order History. There you may find a transaction similar to my personal instance below which shows that upon migration I paid $46.87 for the full feature set. There is no reason for me to buy the features again no matter how inconsequential the cost.
Further, if I continue subscribing (here my information may be an overestimation) at the level of Pro or better for two years I qualify for the fall back license.

So you should contact Customer Service and clarify your eligibility.
If you don't need to purchase the "Logos 10 Full Feature Upgrade", or Silver Feature Upgrade (before Sept 6) you can purchase the non-cloud features you have been using after 2 years subscription.

HI
I have a similar charge on that date..but it doesnt say the purchase is for "full feature set"...its saying it for FLC+ Logos Pro. (and the FLC isstill in Subscriptions to charge $99 in Feb 2025)
Also, if I go to the Full Feature Set page, its saying I already own this. Is that because it is OWNED, or because a Faithlife Connect subscriber?

Stuart,
Did you get an e mail that stated the full feature set was now owned by you since you were a Connect subscriber? Logos offered it to long time subscribers. My guess is that you now own the FFS because of this.

I didnt see an email saying that I now fully own 10FFS (although trying to search through all the chaff in email search results, I could have missed it.)
I called customer support yesterday. Those of you who have the circa $50 charge 8/7, click and expand that order. Youll see they list that amount, and credit it in same order, so $0 charged to you. This was just to get you transitioned to the new subscription. The $ amount was probably a pro-rate for this year.
Also, the rep confirmed that long time Logos NOW subscribers were given (ie permanent) Logos 10 full feature set (I dont know whats the story with those long-term subscribers that paid the $$$ extra to own the FFS in prior months...I would call and ask.)
So other than the FFS which we now fully own, is there benefit to gettinng Max that would make up any other losses, if any, from FL Connect Essentials?
Oh..I asked the rep if us long- term subscribers have till Sep 6 to choose whether we want to go to MAX at the $129 price without paying $349 afterwards if we want to switch.....the rep said that long term Logos NOW subsrcibers would "always have a discount".
If someone else wants to call and ask if thats true (that Logos NOW/FLC Essentials subscribers can switch to MAX or down to Premium at these early bird prices or better, even after Sep 6)...just for verification.

I asked this question in a thread where staff were interacting on the developments around this, but received no response. You are right, I guess I need to call sales to find out.

Hi all.
As it was recommended that Connect subscribers wait until they were converted to Pro in order to not lose anything and avoid duplicate subscriptions, so that is what I did. My Connect subscription has now been converted to Pro. I also was charged my annual renewal for my subscription last week. I want to upgrade my subscription to Max, but am wondering if there are any timing issues related to this change or if it's something I can do anytime without any issues? Thanks!0 -

Having been a Logos Now and FL Connect subscriber from the start, I purchased the FFS upgrade at the start of this month. On the 6th of the month an email was sent out that contained the wording:
Youโve been with us through Logos Now and Faithlife Connect Essentials. And now, as our way of saying thank you for your loyalty over the years, we have unlocked the Logos 10 Full Feature Set for you at no extra charge. We want to reward your continued investment by giving you all the features (and savings) of Logos 10 before we enter the new era of Logos subscription.
I didn't realise that that was saying that long term subscribers were gifted the FFS, and would continue to have the features even if they didn't proceed with a subscription to Logos Pro/Max. I thought the wording meant that we were getting early access to the unlocked FFS (if we didn't have it already), on the basis of "continued investment" meaning anticipation of taking up the new subscription (thinking access to the features might end if I didn't subscribe).
I spoke to a customer service rep. just there now, and he confirmed that I was mistaken. The FFS was gifted to long term subscribers, regardless of whether we would continue with the new subscription or not. He put me on hold to check that with some other staff, and confirmed that that was indeed the case.
So, that is really generous of FL/Logos to have given us the FFS, so that long term subscribers don't need to keep up a subscription for two years in order to then receive a fallback feature set. I'm planning on subscribing to Pro or Max in any case, but just wanted to be sure that I'd have the FFS too. The rep. then gave me a refund for the purchase of the FFS, since it was within 30 days of purchasing it. He then confirmed that I still have the FFS on my account too. Thank you FL/Logos.

This was also my experience yesterday. I must say, I am a very happy camper.

I have been with Logos since 1994 (Logos 1.6 -- came on six 3.5" floppy discs). I have also been a Logos Connect/Now subscriber since the day it was first offered. Additionally, I purchased the Logos 10 Gold data sets when first offered. I also signed up for the early-bird subscription on Logos Pro.
So now, Logos is "gifting" long-time Connect/Now subscribers the Logos 10 full featured data sets at no charge.
Question:
So is Logos going to do something for those of us who have been both long-time Connect/Now subscribers AND also purchased the Gold 10 data sets?
Perhaps give us long-time faithful customers a discount on the first year's subscription re: Logos Pro? Or some other Perk?
Just wondering.

Hello! Thank you for being a long-term subscriber with Logosโall the way back to Logos now! We've begun the multi-step process of migrating our faithful Connect subscribers over to the new Logos subscriptions. Step 1 in the process was to get all Connect customers access to Logos Pro at no charge. So now, your Connect Essentials (formerly Logos Now) subscription includes access to Logos Pro (early access).
I'm thrilled to hear that you're looking to get into Logos Max. The only difference between Pro and Max right now is that you get access to about 100 more books in Max (though, in the future, Max will gain additional new features that will not be available in Pro). As we approach our new subscription launch this fall, weโll migrate all Connect subscribers over to our new subscriptions, and weโll sunset Connect. Weโll share more about the timing for that transition as it gets closer. Until the migration takes place, youโll continue to enjoy all the same benefits of Connect that you always have.
For now, we recommend you hold tight and enjoy Logos Pro which has already been added to your Connect subscription. Once we launch in the fall, you will have the option to upgrade to Max if you find that it would better suit your Bible study needs. You can start a Max sub now if you're eager to gain access to the 100 additional books, but it will be in addition to the Connect + Pro subscription you already have.

Perfect! Thanks for the clarity on this. I'll wait until launch and then make the switch then.
Thanks!

Hi Natalie, can you please confirm whether the email on August 6 to long term Connect customers either (i) gave short term "access to Logos Pro at no charge", or (ii) gifted them the FFS for the long term? The customer services rep. I spoke to yesterday confirmed it was the latter. Yet, your post indicates the former. The email is ambiguous.
This has implications for those who hadn't purchased the FFS and who choose not to take up the new subscription, but still want to have the FFS. The customer service rep. confirmed that the long term subscribers 'own' the FFS now. I wonder if it has implications on the pricing for subscribing to Max too.
Can you please clarify? Thanks

All current Connect Essentials and Connect Premiere subscribers are receiving the benefits of a Logos Pro subscription as part of their Connect subscription, regardless of how long they have been subscribed.
In addition, we gifted the full feature set to subscribers who had been with us since Logos Now as a thank-you for their loyalty.
All Connect customers will be migrated fully to the new subscriptions in the fall.

Sorry, no (unless you bought FFS within the last 30 days, in which case you could return it).

Nuts... ok, I was afraid you would say that.
Well, years ago, there was an invitation that if anyone wanted to buy the programmers in Bellingham pizza, that it would not go amiss. I always planned to do that, but I never made good on the intention. So please order in pizza for the team. If you can't do this in lieu of my purchase, just charge it to Bill's expense account. Tell him that I said it was ok.
Seriously though, thanks for the answer.

I am a former Logos Now customer--current Faithlife Connect. I was considering buying the FFS for backup. Are you saying that I do not need to do this? Can you recommend someone I can call and speak to about this?Mark Barnes (Logos) said:Sorry, no (unless you bought FFS within the last 30 days, in which case you could return it).
I am also considering moving my sub over to Max for the new language features in the future and looking forward to the possibilities. A ~$29 annual upgrade is a fair price to stay current.(from ~$99 in ~2015/16).

Hi Chris,
Got to this link for the full feature upgrade and it should show as "owned" and not possible for you to purchase it.
https://www.logos.com/product/228476/logos-10-full-feature-upgrade
As a Logos Now subscriber you should have been given the FFS and automatically transferred to Logos Pro. It has been suggested to wait before changing your subscription to Logos Max to avoid loss of some Connect benefits.
If this is not the case I would contact customer support.

Someone from customer support reached out and took care of me.
There was a glitch in my account allowing me to load L10 FFS into my cart.
Thank you Logos too!
