I suppose since I cannot figure out how to do this, it still isn’t possible?
Correct. The underlying architecture can't support it at this time. When this is changed, I suspect we will see many related enhancements.
I received a notification that the status of this was recently changed, but I cannot find the new status of this request. Would someone kindly educate me as to where the status of this request can be seen? TIA
I would like to be able to highlight text and add notes to the footnotes. That would be wonderful.
one place:
Logos now has a page view where it shows footnotes at the bottom of the page.
I wanted to highlight a footnote and I can't. I guess that means I can't copy and paste either.
Bummer.
I wish I could.
thank you
@Larry Craig I have found that if I hover over the footnote number in the main text, clicking on the pop up will make it persist while I cut and paste the text into a note. This has the added advantage of making the text searchable in the Notes tool.
I see that works, but Logos exists to save us time. A lot of books have a lot of footnotes, and this needs to be speeded up.
but thank you
I'm bumping this topic because I searched…this has been out here for 5 years, and I know (though can't find) where I was in a monster thread asking for this very feature. Would you please update and advise? How might we advocate getting this feature prioritized for an upcoming release? 😉 @Phil Gons (Logos)
This requires a massive restructuring of the fundamental structure of books in Logos … or a difficult to maintain kludge. At some point Logos will have to rewrite the application to match the contemporary technology but until that happens, we have to accept that Logos understands the problem and can't afford to fix it.
As a Product Owner in a Fortune 200 Company, I understand that. Thanks for replying, @MJ. Smith…!
Logos could have its grading system redesigned to be more useful. I've started using the Obsidian software for grading notes with links between notes, so I thought it would be wonderful if Logos notes worked like Obsidian or Notion, which also creates links between notes. For those who don't know Obsidian yet, I suggest…
the title says it. It used to take 1 click. Now it takes 3 clicks. This is not an improvement, to me!
Mobile Ed: NT202 A Survey of Jewish History and Literature from the Second Temple Period (10 hour course) A sincere request to add this into this month's Mobile Ed contents 🤩
I was reading through Charles Stanley's Handbook for Christian Living tonight. I noticed it has some concise yet useful articles on various counseling topics, but it doesn't appear in the Counseling Guide yet. This might be a good one to add to the Counseling Guide as another resource.
