Lost diagram that needs to return: location of search results

I've tried and given it lots of time but I still NEED an old chart layout which allowed me to see at a glance where terms/entities were used frequently, rarely or not at all - it allowed me to see by canon sequence and interpolate chronological use. It allowed me to infer what authors and genres used it. The new third-party tool may provide adequate charts for many purposes but it provides no real replacement for the result map:
P.S. don't try and sneak dropping sparklines which serve a similar purpose. I've already caught you red-handed in Factbook.
