Overview
The Select Novels of Antiquity collection gathers some of the world’s earliest extended prose narratives, including work from Apuleius, Petronius, and Longus. Though not directly connected to the development of the modern novel, these texts are gems of history, and their themes and concepts are woven into the fabric of Western literature. Among these texts are Apuleius’ The Golden ****, the only Latin novel that survives in its entirety, about Lucius’s literal and metaphorical journey from man to beast and back again; Longus’ Daphnis and Chloe, a timeless tale of young love; and Petronius’ Satyricon, which mixes satire and romance.
This collection contains the complete texts in their Loeb Classical Library editions. Each text is included in its original Greek or Latin, with an English translation for side-by-side comparison. Use Logos’ language tools to go deeper into the original-language text with linked translations, definitions, and pronunciation tools. You can also use the dictionary lookup tool to examine difficult English words. Quick and easy access to maps and charts, as well as definitions and lexical information, allows you to understand the historical context of these works like never before.

These stories are helpful to see how narrative "works" in the New Testament period. My bid has been in pretty much since these things were written. :P

Roy, this leads to a one-element long list of search hits (products). The issue here is that when trying to access the product page itself, e.g. to view the progress chart or change the bid, we run into the error - "we" being users who already have a bid on the CP product.

Nope but thanks! I can get the link to work in Firefox but for some reason it won’t in Safari. I tried two devices and my Mac. This product page just hates safari. I can look at everything else using safari, just not this item.

Maybe I misunderstood the steps, but I still wound up with that error. I’m not worried though. The “ending soon” email notice I received told me my price would be 13.

No it didn't - believe me, I went there and tried (as did others).
Looking at your screenshot, it seems JoeCune or someone else from Faithlife did a quick fix on the pricing range: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 18, 19, 22... so it now works for a $18 bid (I can't verify since I used the workaround, deleted my bid and subsequently could access the product page and put in a new bid at $13).
EDIT: it seems that fix helps users with existing bids at no-longer-valid pricepoints to access the page, but you see the $18 bid with 0% on the curve, which doesn't look true - and I can't see this pricepoint when I'm opening the product page now.

I’m a bit confused about the rush to change bids. Pretty much every Community Pricing page says:
Click on the highest price you'd pay. If the final price is lower, that's what you'll pay.

The problem was that the bid range and steps were changed so that people who had already placed bids which were not on the new steps could not see what was going on. By changing bids to current steps they could now see. This becomes an issue in at least two circumstances: firstwfirst a person has friends who are very busy and rely on the person to advise them of something they may otherwise miss out on, a new second, particularly in this case, a person's circumstances may have changed in the seven years or so since they originally placed their bid, their level of interest in the books may have changed and they may now be willing to pay what is needed to secure the books.
Your comment on ' bid the maximum you are willing to pay' tends to apply well when a lot moves more quickly rather than taking such a long time to gather enough interest to go into production.
