The Books and Resources in the subscription packages are extremely underwhelming. I see little that would add much value in terms of books.

To be fair, I have been buying Logos books since 1991. I have gradually and consistently built a Logos library of over 9,800 books. There is little of interest to me in libraries included with the various subscriptions. I have most of the commentaries and resources that would interest me.

There are many resources that I wish were available for purchase in Logos. It seems the Logos has little interest in publishing them for my Bible software. (As always, the "Bicentennial Edition of John Wesley's Works" comes to my mind.)

With 25,000 or so subscriptions, perhaps the problem is with me, not Logos. I wonder how many people have bought previous Logos upgrades.

Obviously, this upgrade is all about features. I am more about books and resources.

I was also not very impressed with the 2025 Libraries, but I did chalk it up to the fact that I have pretty much everything that I wanted in my Library… Possibly the 2025 offerings will offer a good selection when the denominational packages are released.

Don't know about the the subscription library . I really don't like FL cludging up my library (sounds negative, but a nice tagged library is a major Logos plus through the years … my Kindle is hopeless almost, and Accordance tries hard).

The 2025 packages, and approaching denoms … I think one has to not hit the 'owned' button, and view as younger, and poorer, maybe. We shall see when the Orthodox appear (and yes, won't buy).

The libraries that come with the subscriptions were mostly intended for new users so they would have a starting point to utilize the software. This was stated early on. It was not intended to be a large incentive for users that have an extensive library. As such there was no attempt to dynamically price it.

If you look closely there are a some good resources included, but you may already own them.

I began the subscription in early access - Pro. I decided to go to Max for a few dollars more. Max is not greatly differentiated from Pro just yet, but I was able to add some resources I did not already own. I get to sample some higher priced items as rental and then decide if it something I would want to purchase. I saw this as a benefit.

I have relatively good library, so there may be some others that I already owned.

Yep. I think those with large libraries might not see the combination of the books included with the subscriptions and the limited number of libraries very compelling. We will see to see what is offered in Q1 next year for denominational libraries. 🤔

Agreed - hopefully the Denomination based packages do bring some attractive offerings for those larger library owners.
