Focus Tab Hit Box
Could you add to the program settings; an option that disallows the first click on an unfocused tab to perform a click action on the target objects in that tab. (Clicking a word invokes the info tab etc.)
As in, the first click anywhere on a non-focused tab can only focus it. The first click on a word or anything else can only focus that tab. After the first click then you can click on the content of the tab, as usual.
Why would you want this? So that the entire tab's hit box surface area is available to click on to focus the tab. Currently we have to carefully click only on the tab header (tab) or a blank space to not mess with anything that's set up in there; because of auto link actions etc. This would make it a lot faster and easier to jump around between tab groups. Also focusing a tab group enables its hotkeys.
You could even give us a little lock icon we could put on the toolbar or something to toggle this behavior.
