This functionality works for me using Logos 39.1.6 on a Windows computer.
If this is not working for you, please give detailed steps explaining how you tried to use this functionality.
@Lew Worthington and @Yasmin Stephen
Any chance that either app is running as administrator?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
Joe,
Following the steps you suggested (similar to what I had done before with a different filter), Excel opens temporarily (after Logos "thinks" for a few seconds), but Excel is blank; no spreadsheet is created. After a few seconds, Excel closes.
I'm on Logos 39.1.6. I'm on Windows 11 Home 24H2. MS Excel for MS 365 MSO (Version 2412 Build 16.0.18324.20092 64-bit).
If Excel is already open with a blank spreadsheet, choosing to paste into a an open document does nothing noticeable.
I finally remembered to test this, and I'm experiencing the same issue as Lew mentioned 👇🏽

(Logos is version 39.1.6 | Excel is version 2412)
I recommend that any Windows users experiencing this problem use these instructions to repair Excel.
I have the same issue on a freshly installed Win 11 computer.
Logos version: 39.1 (pro subscription)
Excel version: 2501 (build 18429.20132), Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, current channel 64 bit
Thanks for your logs @Jan Krohn I have added them to this case.
@NichtnurBibelleser It would be helpful if you could post your logs here in this thread, or email them to cs@logos.com with a link to this thread.
Maybe it's a matter of localization? American and German Excel commands differ.
Thanks for your logs @NichtnurBibelleser I have added them to the ticket.
The Excel options have never worked for me. I normally save as an XML file, open that file in Excel, and then save it as an Excel file.
