Add a Separation line in the Prioritize Books Section of the Library for classification of resources

A floating separation line across the book listings would assist users to see what the types of books prioritized are. A format similar to Word or Excel toolbar short cuts. For example:

Bibles:

Commentaries :

Etc .

Note: After posting this, I found on the Wiki page the instruction to do this. Although It seems it should be a program feature, the personal book method works once you understand it.

Oh well, at least I have the headings of book types now, even if it is a cheezey way to do this.🐀

The wiki method is commonly used - I recommend it. But remember that when you prioritize a resource, that applies to all its indices not just the one you have put it under the heading of.

Thanks for the heads up MJ.

To me, the instructions were a little cryptic. I just wished Logos was a little more polished. It's great, don't get me wrong… I just am surprised some things are overlooked that other packages have. The prioritizing of resources needs some wok to make it more user friendly.

As a newer user, I can't keep in my head which resources are which type. Sometimes I will "mix up" the individual ordering.

I guess this will improve over the time using it. Thank you for your insights in posts. I learn from them as well as enjoy your wit at times!🙂

Rather than a separation line, this feature needs a full UX treatment (but I'd settle for a separation line if they're not going to put any investment here).

Ideally, I'd want to be able to create custom sections that I name and can place books within. Those custom sections would be collapsible, and I could reorder sections as well as books within sections. Maybe sections can even have advanced prioritization placed on them somehow.

Another use for sections would be to target the prioritized section for certain things. For example, you could set an Advanced Prioritization on a section that targeted the Insights Panel only, so your prioritization in that section doesn't monkey with how you might want your resources listed elsewhere.

There are many things that could be done to improve prioritization - unfortunately, the last time Logos looked into it, it became a thorny problem trying to capture all the major needs. The thing I want most is the ability to prioritize collections rather than each several resource, especially in advanced prioritization. This would allow me to easily direct resources to the translation they were intended to use.
