I would love to have a Bible finder interactive similar to the Bible Browser in its interface with the following information about each Bible as facets:
- Bible/manuscript/translation name
- standard abbreviation
- language
- translation/paraphrase/metric version (the latter often psalms)
- translation philosophy (word-for-word, meaning-for-meaning continuum, perhaps only if the translators specify it)
- translator(s) or sponsoring organization(s)
- canon name or list of books covered
- manuscript/critical text basis
- if a revision, the text revised
- denomination if originally intended for a specific group
- verse map
- interlinear/reverse interlinear available - including the base manuscript
- has pericope titles (and in pericope tool)
- has words-of-Christ in red option
- is in verse or paragraph (or both) format
- omits or includes (or mixed) the verses given in List of New Testament verses not included in modern English translations - Wikipedia
- has cross-references (and in cross-reference guide)
- study bibles available
- reading level - something standard such as wordCalc
- handling of proper names: contemporary standard, use of Greek forms (e.g. older Catholic Bibles), use of Hebrew forms (e.g. some Messianic Judaism Bibles)
- font (needed for German Bibles in Fraktur or Simplified Chinese)
- independent or embedded in commentary (and therefore not directly accessible as scripture in Logos)
- study bibles available
- a user set field indicating that the translations is approved for general use by their denomination, or for use with children, or for private use only
