However, I have not seen anyone suggest archives of old Church manual editions, Liberty magazine archives, or Regional Conference history documents. I grep up in a home that subscribed to Liberty magazine, so I am happy to see it included in Logos. However, it does seem to be that Logos is prioritizing the works we have suggested. I personally would be prioritized ANY of the works on the forum generated list above much higher than the current CP projects.0 -
Here is some more suggestions to add:
7 Mysteries Solved by Howard Peth
Ellen White Under Fire by Jud Lake
Daniel by William H. Shea
With Jesus in His Sanctuary Leslie Hardinge

Edwin just mentioned two that I was not aware of.
-. Jo Ann Davidson “The Decalogue Predates Mount Sinai: Indicators from the Book of Genesis.” Journal of the Adventist Theological Society, vol. 19, nos. 1 & 2 (2008): 61-81.
-. Mathilde Frey, The Sabbath in the Pentateuch: An Exegetical and Theological Study (PhD Dissertation), Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary
The journal would be good to get, and the PhD, Dissertation, sounds just like what we could use.
Keep going at it Martin. Remember, every four hours, resurface for air. [:)]

Here is the sytax to create a collection for all Adventist Resources.

The last two are for the Sda Encyclopedia and Atlas respectively. You have to create custom tags or Logos does not recognize them.
These do not include those resources not yet released.

Good point there...
I can understand re: CPs. Since those are out of copyright, it's easier to get those through. (The old Church Manuals, I think it will be a long time for them to reach 100%; not sure most people want old church manuals. I could understand the first one and then maybe a couple of key one throughout history and more importantly the current manual.)
But even the Pre-Pubs, many of the resources have not been requested. Some of the bundles have had 1 resource requested but usually the full bundle of resources has not been requested.
Even so, it's great to see SDA resources coming forth [:)]

We are working in development for all these resources. I appreciate so much your enthusiasm, David. Here are the copyright rules that exist in the US:
1) Anything before 1923 is public domain and available to anyone--the content itself but NOT the PDF images that someone recently developed at their own expense.
2) Anything between 1923 and 1963 that has not had a copyright secured or renewed is also in the public domain. Here is a link to the Stanford University "Copyright Renewal Database":
http://collections.stanford.edu/copyrightrenewals/bin/page?forward=home
Google also maintains such a list. Keep in mind that these lists are not official.
3) Resources published after 1963 are copyrighted; often publishers will return the copyright to the author after a book goes out of print (not always). In such cases I work directly with the author; otherwise I must negotiate a licensing agreement with the publisher.
Logos has win-win relationships with 150 publishers, including Andrews University Press and other Adventist entities as well. I am actively engaged in discussions with a number of SDA publishers--conversations continually going on. Please pray for us with that.
Thank you so much for collaborating with me, all of you on this forum!
Martin

Thanks Jonathan for pointing this out. It does not seem to be on sale as yet. I have started a new thread to make sure that it gets noticed.

Yes, I just noticed that video and contacted R&H. They said it is slated for the print copy in January or February. So far no plans for Logos though, so yes, it would be great if that conversation could begin on this side!
Thank you Martin!
