- While the library icon (on the bottom) is great for quickly opening a resource in a new tab, it would still be nice to tap on the book name at the top of the window to change the resource of the current tab (already at the desired reference)
- Could you clarify the functionality of the Logos icon button at the bottom center of the window. I initially though it was a quick link to the first tab in the list, but that doesn't seem to hold true in all cases.
- In the tab view, it would be nice to have a button to close all tabs without having to swipe-close each one.
- also in the tab view, if would be nice to have a second view option that just lists the resource and reference of the tab, allowing for quicker jumping between multiple tabs by listing many open tabs on the screen at once.
- Very much like the new popout main menu on the right side, as well as the drop down resource menu.
- It would also be nice on the Book-Chapter-Verse selection screen to have a button labeled "open in new tab" that could be pressed before selecting the verse. This would be nice in a situation whenever you are asked to turn to a different passage, but you would like to preserve your current tab (location).
- Tabbed browsing is great! Genius. I can see myself using this a lot. I will probably have a Greek+English 2 panel tab, Hebrew+English 2 panel tab, and then whatever books etc I'm reading.
- I love how easy it is to switch tabs.
- I love the ability to sync tabs.
- I agree that 1 finger swipe to change tabs and 2 fingers to change page is counter intuitive. Not a deal breaker but took me a while to figure out - originally I thought it was a bug.
- I would like the ability to have some tabs use 'scrolling view' and some tabs use 'page turning'. It seems at the moment that changing the view settings on 1 tab affects them all. I can see the advantage of that, and think that should be default. Otherwise it will be chaos. But what about an option in that "View Settings" pane that says 'Settings affect this tab only'? Here's my use case: I use page turning when I read books. But when I am looking at original languages with English in the 2nd pane, I prefer scrolling. It is annoying to have to keep changing the view options.
- Still really keen for offline word lookup for original languages (Daniel we've chatted about this in the past so I don't think I need to explain what I mean here?)
- When changing view options, turning on scrolling causes the open tab to freeze.
- Turning off scrolling when holding iPad horizontally makes the margins really narrow (turning iPad vertical then back to horizontal fixes).
- I couldn't get rid of the split screen by dragging it to the bottom, as I had been used to. I worked out much later it was on the tabs page, but I see no reason why it can't be draggable too.
- Whilst trying to get rid of the split screen, I kept highlighting text accidentally. The current version of the app only highlights if you swipe horizontally, whilst the new version also highlights when you swipe vertically. I actually prefer to allow vertical highlighting, but it needs to be less sensitive.
- The app allowed me to use it before my library had downloaded, but it was a frustrating experience. My Bible version was wrong, and I couldn't change it to my preferred version (presumably because my preferred version hadn't been added to the library). It would have been better if I'd been made to wait.
- I got two crashes. I'll add the logs once I've synced to iTunes.
- The library very frequently jumped to the top when I scrolled down. It made it almost impossible to choose resources below the fold. It's calmed down now, but was very annoying for at least 10 minutes.
- On the tabs page, the tap targets for new tab and link (at the bottom) are too small for my fingers. I have to tap slightly off the screen to get them to work.
- Because the UI only comes up when you scroll down (not if you scroll up), it's hard to get the UI to appear when you're at the beginning of the resource.
- When you're at the first tab, and swipe right you get the rubber-band effect. But I think the background outside the tab should be dark grey, not white.
- The animation when you tap the blue button gives the appearance you're going one tab to the left/right, regardless of how many tabs there actually are. I would prefer a more realistic animation.
- I really like the idea of the blue button, but I don't think the icon is right. It feels like tapping the Logos logo should take you to the home page, not your Bible. I'd prefer a simple Bible icon (perhaps the cover of your preferred Bible, or a standard cover with the short title, such as NIV)
- I'd like an option to keep the existing apps ability to keep the current resource/location always onscreen.
- I miss not being able to see how far through a book I am. A slider, or percentage would be useful.
- We're learning about new bugs
- You're affirming some assumptions we had
- You're helping us prioritize future work/improvements
- You're confirming to our team that you don't like it when we move the cheese
- Text Compare: Typing a verse in ref box or selecting a ref from the picker goes somewhere random.
- Can't read the Last Read toast notification; colors are wrong. Also, tapping on it opens a new tab???
- How do you delete a Prayer List?
- Not a new problem: When you go offline with a non-local resource open in a tab, you can scroll through to blank space. Putting an Offline marker on there would be a nice reminder to the user that this is expected. Another option would be to allow caching entire resources as they are opened, however you'd have to be respectful of Data Rates for cell users.
- Atlas: Is that a place holder? Where's the new fast maps from the web platform?
- I keep reaching to top right for the tab manager. Like Safari & Chrome. I also keep trying to pinch the screen to get to the tab manager.
- I'm not crazy about the order of menu items. The most often used tasks should be nearer the top. I appreciate and approve of wanting the Store more upfront (is it going to be used on iOS?), but it pushed more useful items down the list. Have you considered putting just the icons on a single row at the top, next to the Done buttton? [Menu] [Store] [Settings] [Help] Done.
- The Back button confuses me. It's enabled when there is nowhere to go back to. I understand that there is a useful history displayed (long press), but it's just wrong that it's enabled,I can tap it and it does nothing.
- It would be a different use of the term "layout" from the way the term is currently used within the FL ecosystem. (FL uses the term "layout" to quasi describe (my concept of) projects.
- FL already uses the term "layout" abnormally (imo). The plain use of the term layout denotes the arrangement of something, likely in some sort of "grid." If we were to use the term "layout" in a plain sense with the current design of the mobile app beta, there could only be "two" layouts: One panel or two. The workspaces/tabs/desktops would either be a "one panel layout" or a "two panel layout." It would simply be wrong to call the tabs/workspaces/desktops "layouts."
- Have the app open to the Home Screen (or at least provide that option in settings
- One the Home Screen provide the ability to access the Library, Documents, and Tools rather than simply clicking Done
- Provide a command to collapse or expand all sections in guides (Passage, Exegetical, etc.). This would be similar to the right click command command on the desktop app. Ideally, the guides would open with all sections collapsed. Currently they open expanded
- Provide the ability to link guides, text comparison, etc with bibles and other resources.
- In addition to the current search function, provide a search command within an open bible or resource (not in a new screen tab) that will enable a user to search within that resource whether online or offline. I understand that offline searches would be dependent on the resource being downloaded to the device.
- Downloaded preferred Bible in Library (so two Bibles had Info with blue background)
- Removed Lexham English Bible from Library (so preferred Bible has Info with blue background)
- Closed app (flicked up from list of open apps)
- Opened app
- Library shows two Bibles with Info having blue background
- Opening a devotional (Sanctuary) from the home screen doesn’t seem to work. I do have this devotional in a pane shared with ESV. But tapping from the homescreen doesn’t do anything. Tapping the ESV for my Bible reading plan from the homescreen does work.
- When reading and scrolling, I find the top toolbar continually comes down and obscures the first few lines. It appears that when I lift my finger off the screen, I often make a slight downward motion. Maybe I’m ”just doing it wrong”.
- Tapping ”Mark Read” for a scripture reading results in a swiping left animation that would seem to indicate I had switched window panes, but I had not switched panes.
- Is drag and drop functionality for iOS 11 coming soon?
The tab system is obviously the most exciting development, and it's incredible. You can quickly compare multiple resources, preserve your location while following links etc - it's a great feature. I will say that if you're viewing a resource with the swiping mode rather than scrolling mode, it's a tad counterintuitive that you need to use two fingers to swipe (one finger changes tabs) - I think that would make more sense if you swapped the one-finger/two finger interactions.
I don't find myself using the atlas often in the existing app, but when the vector maps roll out, I expect to view them more often, and when that happens, I'll definitely want the option of viewing them full-screen (especially when using a phone-screen) so I hope that gets added as an option for a new tab rather than just a pop-over.
I do find myself missing the "swipe up" interaction on a verse, but if that gets lost in a new approach to interaction, I can understand that, and it's not hard to get the same thing through the menu system - it's also slightly less important given that I won't need to repeat the interaction as often (given the multiple tab situation).
Other than that, any feedback for now would be aimed at desired features (better offline support for interlinear resources, better display for search results, open any image full-screen etc), but that's presumably not the kind of feedback you're after in this thread.
My main thoughts are that this is a really positive development. Exciting, well thought through and well-implemented. Love it!

Your right about this. When the app ships, here's how it will work: If you're set to paging: 1 finger swipe to change page, two finger swipe to change resource. If you're set to scrolling: 1 finger swipe changes resource. Two finger swipe changes resource. The majority of people use scrolling mode.

This is the direction we're going: most tools, resources, and documents should open in a new tab.

That sounds perfect, yeah.
One issue I keep having - when using the text comparison tool, it will generally load up to requested verse, but after a second or two (without any interaction from me) it will jump back several verses.
So just now, I typed in the reference for Genesis 32:20, and it displays those verses for under two seconds before it scrolls up to Genesis 32:7.
This happens consistently, regardless of which collection I compare, or whether I type the passage manually or open the guide to a reference from the bible verse context menu.

Hmmm... would it be better to keep behaviour consistent... 2 finger swipe always changes resources?
I will switch between scrolling and page turning, and suspect I will find myself making the wrong gesture frequently.

I cannot get an OT passage to even appear. Mine is stuck on Luke 23:36. Typing in the reference does noting, nor does using the book, chapter, verse selection tool. In either case, it reverts back to Luke 23:36. Once I try to scroll the comparison window, it then jumps back 10 verses or so.

Glad to see the nice work that has been done on this new version. Here are some initial thoughts:
Really excited to see this initial work so far. nice job team.
While the library icon (on the bottom) is great for quickly opening a resource in a new tab, it would still be nice to tap on the book name at the top of the window to change the resource of the current tab (already at the desired reference)
This is something we hear a lot, and a fix is coming.
Could you clarify the functionality of the Logos icon button at the bottom center of the window. I initially though it was a quick link to the first tab in the list, but that doesn't seem to hold true in all cases.
It's "the Bible" button. A common complaint we here about the current app is that it's difficult to make your way back to the Bible. That button with 1.) Open your preferred Bible in a new tab (if it isn't open) OR 2.) Open the last used instance of your preferred Bible.
It would also be nice on the Book-Chapter-Verse selection screen to have a button labeled "open in new tab" that could be pressed before selecting the verse. This would be nice in a situation whenever you are asked to turn to a different passage, but you would like to preserve your current tab (location).
We're exploring a solution where we give you an option to open in a new tab or your existing tab.

Could you guys explore long-press options for this button. Perhaps a short press opens as you have indicated, but a long press would pop up a menu of a few selected favorites or would open a pres-selected function (like word study).

Yes, It would be very helpful to have a Parallel Resources type feature that works when you tap the title or otherwise accessed. Ideal would be to show resources that have the same ref but It would be very helpful if it just showed resources of the same Type. IE. tap the title of your current bible and get a list of all bibles, ditto with commentaries.

Hello all,
I've been playing with the LogosNext app and I wanted to say—awesome job! It's fresh and exciting but also easy to use!
A couple of thoughts:
1. Like everyone else is saying, page turning should be a one finger swipe and changing tabs should be a two finger swipe.
2. I love how clean the pages are now, but there should be a header option so you know which resource is open and where you are. Maybe the resource's short name and chapter/verse? As I was changing tabs to different commentaries I couldn't tell which commentary was which. See mockup below.
3. You can't link a Text Comparison tab to the other tabs. That would be a nice feature!
4. I noticed that something that is broken in the non-beta app got fixed (which is great!). When previewing a cross reference in the ESV, LORD (for Yahweh in the OT) now says "LORD" instead of "Lord" (Adonai) which has been misleading. Glad to see this fixed in LogosNext.
5. Lastly (and not super important), I wish more fonts were available. Even just a sans-serif option would be welcomed. That being said, I do love the default font.
Awesome job, team. Thanks for all you do!
I've been on the beta using Testflight but it's not there for me either. How does one request an invite? I guess if I don't know, I'm not likely to get one. Kind of like fight club?

Before I give my first impressions, I'll just say that I'm delighted that there's a multi-tabbed interface. I've been wanting that for a long, long time (without realising it!). It answers a lot of my frustrations. That said…
My first 15 minutes with the app were frustrating to say the least. I encountered the following issues:
To end with a positive, I absolutely love how quick it is to move to a different tab (although I think we'd be better off calling these 'panels'). That answers my #1 frustration with the existing app. The library also seems much more responsive. That answers my #2 frustration.

BIG THANKS to everyone who has been providing detailed feedback. We can't respond to every individual comment, but please know that we're reading each and every one. Here's why it's helpful:
This IS a beta, and we are currently working on several things that you have mentioned in your critical feedback. Some things just aren't ready yet. In fact, we just shipped an update that impacted some animations, gestures, ect.
Looking forward to chatting more.
The library very frequently jumped to the top when I scrolled down. It made it almost impossible to choose resources below the fold. It's calmed down now, but was very annoying for at least 10 minutes.
I know this is annoying. It's a known issue. It happens when you're library is loading. Moving forward, we want to do a better job of indicating to people when their library is loading and when/if it will impact performance in some way.
Because the UI only comes up when you scroll down (not if you scroll up), it's hard to get the UI to appear when you're at the beginning of the resource.
Also a known issue. We're addressing this.
The animation when you tap the blue button gives the appearance you're going one tab to the left/right, regardless of how many tabs there actually are. I would prefer a more realistic animation.
We are working on an interaction here.

Similarly at the end. The UI pops up and you can’t see and interact with the final lines. The UI should come up here, but we need an inflated margin at the end so we can read the final lines. I noticed this in the Passage Guide.
\I really like the idea of the blue button, but I don't think the icon is right. It feels like tapping the Logos logo should take you to the home page, not your Bible. I'd prefer a simple Bible icon (perhaps the cover of your preferred Bible, or a standard cover with the short title, such as NIV)
This sound like a good idea. Make the Bible icon the home page link, and then have a greyed bible icon to go to the last Bible (or whatever the current Bible icon functionality is). It think that would be the more naturally expected behavior of the Bible icon to go to the home page with a single click, and then provide access to a few favorites with long-press.

[CRASH] Tapping the first item in a clipping document briefly opens the Edit dialog and then crashes.
Do you want the reports here limited to what is listed in the App Description, What to look for, section?
I really love the direction and new aesthetic. I didn't think I'd like tabs on mobile, but WOW! Really nice work.
I'm doing this at work so, just a few quick observations:
Some of this may be me getting acclimated to a different way of navigation, but these are a few impressions:

Yeah. When tabs were mentioned long ago, I kept thinking of those clunky file cabinet tabs like we have on desktop. All I could imagine was a big clunky interface. This is smooth. Now that I say that I wanna go try and find if there’s a limit to number of tabs/desktops/workspaces...
Is anyone having trouble with the splitter bar? I keep missing it. Maybe my small fingers? It needs a big invisible grab area to widen it. I think I’m getting better but it’s a pain.
“Layouts” may work.
No it won't! Two reasons:

Is there a way to be invited still or is it limited in who can be sent an invite?
I don't speak for FL, but from another post it doesn't sound like more invites will be given out for the Alpha... but the beta should be available soon. Are you a beta test using TestFlight? My guess is that you could receive an invite to that if you want. All warnings should be heeded, however.

Hi Daniel
So far I have only used the beta for reading in scrolling mode however I am finding the proclivity of the top and bottom bars to appear for almost every touch of the screen a bit of a distraction.
I sometimes like to move a paragraph that I have read (and think I have understood) off the screen and find that the top bar has obscured my new start point.
Please will the team take a look at this behaviour perhaps making the bars only appear after a short 'tap' and avoiding the appearing at the start of a 'drag'?

Apologies if these things have already been mentioned....
Filtering by author in the library: When sorting by author in the library, and then filtering for a specific author (any author), no results appear on the right hand side of the library search panel.
Checking off prayers in Today's Prayers: I was hoping that this would be fixed with the new beta, but apparently not. When clicking on prayers to check them off, some will disappear (the expected behavior, I presume) and others persist with a check mark. I'm not sure why some remain and others do not. Seems to me that they should all go away until they are due again.
Home Page: Also, I was hoping there'd be some enhancements to the home page. It needs attention. To be fair, I don't know what it needs, but it needs to be refreshed, and should have more offerings..perhaps links to last read books, documents, courses, etc, Perhaps others would have ideas for more content for the home page to jazz it up a little.
Printing documents: Can you implement the ability to print documents from the app? So many of my iphone apps now allow printing to my WiFi printer, which is nice. It would be great to be able to print documents from the app.
Search results summary: Can you add the number of hits to the search results?
Thanks for the work you guys have done thus far. This is an excellent improvement with so much potential! I'm very excited about they direction you guys are going with both the new mobile app and the Web app!

I don't use the app for prayers, but I do have a theory. What is the scheduled timing of the prayers? Do "daily" prayers remain, while "once a week" ones disappear?

I think it's been mentioned quite a few times, but I definitely agree that Opening a New Tab is too often the default action and needs to be re-evaluated throughout. In many cases both options are useful and desirable; I'm just not sure the default should always be open in another tab.
Some ways were both options could be available.
Tap Menu -> History -> Tap a selection open in current tab, while going to Tab Manager, tapping PLUS, could (and should) present a History option to open in a new tab.
Tapping Library could open a resource in same tab, and as alluded to by Myke a few posts above, Long pressing Library could open it in a new tab.
Similary, as Myke mentions, tapping the Bible and Long pressing should have actions. Current tapping when you are already at your bible does nothing. It could open verse picker/recent in the current tab and long pressing could open in a new tab. There are probably other options that could validly be pulled up there but those stand out.
Another thing that comes up with the tabs being created so often is that I very very often want a Close this Resource and take me Back to where it was create from. For example, Opening a Passage Guide, clicking a commentary will take me to a new tab. It seems a reasonable and common option would be to close this and take me back. This could be what that irritating Back button that does nothing can be employed for. On the other hand some might find it irritating if they press back too many times and the tab closes out from under them...
EDIT: A simple Close this Tab button would be nice too for tabs where there is no where to go back to as above. It takes 3 movements using tab manager.
Don't know if this has been reported—haven't seen it.
Copied some text from a commentary and pasted it into a new note. The copied text appeared, but with no bibliographic information and no link back to the source of the pasted text. I am spoiled by the way notes work elsewhere [:P]
Curiosity follow-up to thread => Remove Lexham English Bible from mobile App
Effectively, Lexham English Bible (LEB) only appears to be "Removed" until app is closed.
Possible suggestion is LEB Info appearance after "Remove" having white background. If user chooses to "Download" LEB, then Info instantly changes to blue background. When app starts up, if preferred Bible is not downloaded, then LEB Info changes to blue background (otherwise stays white to reflect user "removal" desire).
Personally Thankful for LEB inclusion, which includes media option to download audio read aloud. Also like reading LEB so can dream about physical large print study bible with Lexham Study Bible notes.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Effectively, Lexham English Bible (LEB) only appears to be "Removed" until app is closed.
When you remove the LEB from the Bible app, it actually does *remove* it from your library. When you launch it again, the app talks to our servers and "remembers" that it should have the LEB downloaded to the app.
This creates confusion and is something we're actively working to fix.
The UI thing is really bothering me in the guides. expanding/collapsing section shows/hides the UI. The pronunciation icon shows/hides UI. Sometimes hiding the top part that I’m looking at. Links thankfully don’t seem to bother. The UI needs needs to ignore those taps.
BTW: I’m a little torn on the new color scheme in guides. On the one hand the colors are great. On the other, they don’t match the rest. I don’t like the old grey either though it does match. Maybe blues... or more toward red...
BTW: I’m a little torn on the new color scheme in guides.
Please, ignore my stupid. I forgot i was playing with color scheme setting. Doh!
Maybe what threw me off is that the color scheme used to change the UI colors and now it doesn't. Is that intentional?
Is this part still in progress? So much wasted space here. And I can’t make out what most of it says. I need the text titles.
I really really miss the edge swipe menu. Tap screen, tap menu is clunky to me, in comparison. I’d love to just swipe from just beyond the right edge inward to get the menu like the old version does on the left edge.
Latest update out now - I can't see it mentioned in the release notes, but marking a daily reading as read no longer opens the next reading in a new tab.
Clicking on the reading plan from the home page seems to open a new tab each time you do it, which I personally think feels right - I might be the only one though.
Having had just this app open for 15-20 minutes, my phone is now roasting hot - obviously optimisation is one of the last things to deal with before release, but I figured I should mention it.
If you've just updated to iOS 11, it could be the extra indexing that OS requires.

Regarding the Notes pane, can the most recent notes created display first, then display the rest alphabetically by title?
Not sure, but I think in 5.xxx it was completely by last edited date for all of the notes documents. But if 6xxx desires to display them alphabetically, which isn't a totally bad idea, at least display the last 5-10 most recently edited first, then display the rest by notes title. When Im working on a sermon in a notes document on my desktop, it would be nice to open up 6.xxx and see if displayed to me first in my Notes listing.
Thanks for the excellent work this far! Loving it! I love the way Faithlife listens to their users!

I would like some options around sorting based on type - for example I generally want to see the most recent sermon documents but would probably prefer to have notes ordered alphabetically.
So being able to specify - on a per-user basis - for each type could be a good way forward
Just started testing the beta, sorry if these have been covered already…
Tapping ”Mark Read” for a scripture reading results in a swiping left animation that would seem to indicate I had switched window panes, but I had not switched panes.
Actually, you have. There is a bug where a new tab is created, so it really did "switch panes." In my opinion, it is a pain!
Is drag and drop functionality for iOS 11 coming soon?
Nothing mentioned.
When reading and scrolling, I find the top toolbar continually comes down and obscures the first few lines.
yes, annoying!

Concerning the “Mark Read”… I’ve been watching this more, and what appears to happen is that if you have multiple windows of the same Bible open, it switches you from the window pane you are on to another one. I am not seeing it actually open up a new pane. And, if you close the other panes of the same Bible, it is not opening a new one for me.
Also, a little more concerning the problem of the devotional not opening from the home screen… if the devotional is not active in a window pane, it will open. But if the devotional is open already, it will not work. I do not have the devotional downloaded for LogosNext; I am not sure if that has anything to do with this behavior (I have had internet connection throughout, so that is not the issue).
And, if you close the other panes of the same Bible, it is not opening a new one for me.
OK, I am seeing this now, which means that the original bug has been fixed. Good news! The bug you found, however, still needs to be fixed.

Dear Faithlife friends,
PLEASE! Is there anyway Mobile Ed videos can launch in NON-full screen mode. It would be nice to be able to watch the video and take notes ALL INSIDE THE APP, without having to do a split screen with the iOS app and the Web App, as we must do now.
Im not sure who made the decision to force full screen only on us, but, in my opinion, it was a poor one. At this point all one can do is WATCH...one can't take notes, highlight, read long in the transcripts, look up Bible verses in a Bible...nothing. Just....watch. Ugh,
This was brought up several times previously over the last couple years. I was hoping this would be addressed in 6.xxx. Why not??

As you mentioned, this is an often suggested feature-- and something that we should definitely have. Improvements to the Mobile Ed experience are one of our priorities in the next year.
Hi Daniel Di Bartolo,
This is David Wang, a long time Logos user of PC & Android devices.
So happy that your excellent team is creating an even better app for users.
I'm really looking forward that it contains one function for us. Is it possible to add the chang contents fonts function to LogosNext V6 ?
Especially in Android platform, just let it can choose Android embedded system fonts ( or can with additional function that allow user to define the fonts' patch, then utilize the fonts in the app ).
If it's possible would be great help for long time reading in Android devices.
Thank you very much!
Best regards.
David.
I’ve noticed that on my iPad Pro, the syncing of the screens is great. I have my Bible and note open in one screen and commentary on another one. However, I hate having to tap to bring up the toolbar at the bottom where I can switch screens. I can use a two finger swipe to switch quickly, but that’s not obvious. I’d like to be able to turn on the toolbars and leave them on all the time. I think that was possible on the current stable release. If it is on the Next beta, I can’t find it.

With the most recent beta, tapping on the devotional reading from the homescreen will open the devotional, but then you are immediately taken back to the homescreen - causing a bit of visual whiplash.
Concerning the image of the day… if you have the app in splitview, taking up 1/3rd of the screen and tap the image (which has been resized to fit the available width) to view it by itself, the image in the window now opened is cut off. I played around with opening some of the images from other apps while in splitview. Those images are cut off a bit, but also seem to resize somewhat so that they don’t appear to be cut off as bad. But… the difference may be more in that the image of the day is landscape orientation and these other images are more portrait sized.
When doing a mumultiparty reading plan, it is super annoying that following the link to the next reading opens into a new tab. Similarly when I️ split screens like this, when a link in top opens in the same resource that is open on bottom panel, don’t open a new tab

I am starting to think there needs to be a "sync" button on the menu. When I open the app (say, on an iPhone), a lot of times it doesn't go to where I left off on my iPad.

I’m getting pretty consistent bugs in display on the closed beta (vNext) where text is skipped. I’ve gotten this in Bibles and books. Oftentimes closing the book and closing the app and then reopening the app and the book fixes the display problem.
Here is is an example. Ive posted others. I can continue to document if that would be helpful.

I do like the new interface with the multiple workspaces. After working in it for a while I have a couple thoughts
1. When in my Bible, sometimes I want to change translations. When I do, the passage also she to the last page used in that translation. I wish that when using change resource the passage would stay where I have been reading.
2. When navigating to a passage, or opening to a specific location in a resource, I wish the title bar would go away automatically. I know what resource I opened, and the passage I chose. The title bar covers the top lines, and tapping to clear it seems unnecessary.
Thank you for your consideration

Books with nested table of contents:
After expanding an item in the table of contents, if I try to go back to the previous level by tapping the back button in the upper left, or the back button for Android, it takes me back to the book and out of the table of contents. This can be a nuisance when trying to locate a section a user wants to open in a book.
Windows 7, Nexus 7
When in a bible tab linked with a commentary tab, changing the Bible book (eg. John to Ezekiel), the commentary tab does not change to the proper book in the commentary series (eg. NICNT\NICOT)
I don't believe this has ever worked in the mobile apps so it is probably just that this functionality has not been added
Lookup doesn’t work on non bible resources. Select word, tap Lookup and it flashes the info window briefly before disappearing. I want english dictionary lookup.
No need... the app was launched today!

My initial reaction is I am very excited about this Logos upgrade, using it already and it makes my work 10 times easier, switching back and forth with a slide of the finger to all my resources. Keep up the good work, I mainly work on IPad 12.9 and this test app is a great improvement for my studies.
