Windows Tablet - Installing on an SD card

Can I install Logos 6 on an SD card instead of the internal storage of a Windows 10 tablet? I'm thinking I would convert the SD card to permanent storage first (http://garvis.ca/2013/02/21/converting-an-sd-card-to-permanent-storage-in-windows-devices/). But would this work? Would it work well? Are SD cards able to hold up to the kind of use logos continual searches would subject it to?

Yes you can, no you shouldn't... Unless you don't have ANY other options. Even installing other apps on the SD card would be preferable.

Logos 6 is supported on an "Internal HDD/SSD Only" (https://www.logos.com/system-requirements)
You are likely to get extremely slow performance and many errors/crashes by running Logos 6 from a SD card. (They are simply not as fast nor as reliable as a "real" drive.)

For five years I have been running a Logos library installed to a microSDHC card with good performance and narry a crash or error. I'm still using the original microSDHC card. This installation is on a MacBook Air running Windows 8 (Bootcamp). I also have Logos installed to the SSD under OS X (Snow Leopard). I rarely use OS X.
I now have two additional installations on vastly different hardware with which to make comparison. I have a Dell M6600 workstation running Windows 7 with a traditional hdd installation of Verbum 6 and a WinBook T801 tablet upgraded to Windows 10 with Logos 6 installed on microSDHC.
It is my consistent impression as noted in past posts that CPU, GPU, and RAM effect perceived performance more than Disk I/O, except when indexing.
I would not reformat the SD card before installing Logos.
You can read many anecdotes from other people - pay attention to detail and note if the comments reflect actual first hand experience.
