BUG: Have to type in reference twice in Bible
After the program has sat idle for a bit (such as I pull up a word processor for a while), whenever I type in a new reference in the Bible pane and hit enter, it refreshes to the current (old) reference and I have to retype the new reference in again. The second time I hit enter, it goes to the new location. Once it switches, then I can switch without incident.
What's up with that?

Hi Mason
I see this as well. It has something to do with the speed of typing. I always find it more effective to pick from the dropdown and eschew the 'enter' key.

Hi Mason,
We have an open case for this, I will be sure to post an update here when we have a fix in place.

Likewise. I find it works the first time if I pause before hitting return. (Which is still very frustrating).

I have a similar issue when typing a reference into the Copy Bible Verses box.

Here's today's example of this bug.
I was in Acts 15.
I opened a Bible Search in a new window to find the refernce to Mark in the Pastoral epistles.
In the search window I clicked the result (2 Timothy 4:11).
That took me back to the main window and brought up 2 Timothey 4:11 as expected. But it didn't update the reference in the text box where we can enter the text to jump to:

It is different, although the end result is the same!
However, I cannot reproduce in Win 11, Logos 33.1. Are you on Mac?
Is it different if you click the highlighted result in the search panel (it appears that you click the bible reference)?

Yes: clicking in the Bible text causes bible reference entry text box to reset.
Not sure if I can reproduce this either.

Hi Savanna. Almost two months and this very frustrating issue still seems to be there. Is there any update?

From the Logos 34 beta release notes - https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_34.0_Beta_1 - it looks as though a fix was introduced in beta 1 so should ship to stable in about three weeks time (unless others issues arise)
The release notes have:
Bug Fixes

and the sixth thread referenced is this one!
