I think I'm at the point where, if nothing I currently have gets reduced functionality or broken in the transition, I will probably opt not to subscribe. The only things I might consider paying two years to eventually get a legacy license aren't actually included with it.

You have to wait until the official launch day.

Will an academic discount be eligible for savings in a similar way to how there is a 30% discount on base packages offered?
Exactly, that’s what I am wandering too.

The new version doesn't launch until the middle of the month. It is just the sale that ended.

I would be curious to hear confirmation regarding the academic discount for subscriptions and subscription libraries. Will there be a 30% discount for these products, as with Logos 10?

I don't know about everything else, but I can confirm an academic discount on the annual subscription for Logos Pro. My subscription for Pro has the 30% off for an academic discount, and I confirmed that with Logos via email.

From November of 2023 until now, my total spend with Logos is more than the $4936 that would be required to equal 5% of the 2-year upfront Logos Max plan cost of $246.80.
Does that mean I will get a 2-year Logos Max subscription for free? Does the excess get applied to future years, or how does that work?

From what I understand credits from Logos can only be applies to resources and not to Subscriptions, outstanding debits, or gift vouchers, etc.

How long is this offer good for?
Thanks for asking, we haven't given the 2 year option an end date. We feel that the 2 year option is going to be the best option for those of you who are avid Logos users. However, we know this is a big transition and we want to ensure you have adequate time to decide what's best for you.
Like previous years, it's October and I've already spent my book budget for the year. It would sure be nice if the offer was available through January, 2025.

I can confirm that the academic discount program will be available for customers when we launch. Students will be eligible for a 30% discount on subscriptions and the new libraries, and faculty will be eligible for a 40% discount on their subscriptions and libraries. The academic discount will apply after any base package ownership discount, but only be available on annual subscriptions.0 -
Ah this (and not just this) makes me wish I was still in academia!

just a side comment, I thought I had seen Logos was continuing with the 30% discount through October, but I do not see it now. Did I misread that (originally it was through September, but I thought extended again through October) or was there an October date that has now passed? I only see a 5% discount now. I see now that they say "30 percent of Logos 10 packages made for your ministry"...so maybe that is the nuance I was not getting. I just saw "30 percent off Logos 10 packages..." I guess it was up to Logos to decide which Logos 10 packages are "made for my ministry." Incidentally, the ones they are offering are NOT what I want for my ministry at this time...
I like Apples. Especially Honeycrisp.

I think it was until October, not through October. That was replaced by the sale on the preaching and counseling suites for clergy appreciation month.
