As a missionary in Japan, it would be really nice if we had the most commonly used translation in Japan. There are no Japanese translations available, even one preferably the one listed in the Title would be great!
Update: It shouldn't be much longer! We should have this Bible in Logos in the first half of 2025.
The translation is now available for pre-order here! We hope to be able to produce it soon, but every pre-order helps! https://www.logos.com/product/391207/sheng-shu-xin-gai-yi-2017-new-japanese-bible
Thank you, Ben!

I`m a missionary in Japan. I saw about the pre-order SHinkayaku 2017, it's amazing. But I have a question, what's about the time for production? Because I made my pre-order but THERE IS NO TIME ESTIMATE. Its about 6 months, 1 year, 2 years… I would to know if is possible.
Lucas, the Bible is currently in production. In most cases, this would mean that the Bible will be published in a matter of months. We hesitate to commit specific dates because we sometimes come across delaying factors during production. With Bibles, in particular, there is often the complexity of verse maps, which we'll only learn about during production. This is what happened with Shinkaiyaku 2017. Since we don't have this version's exact verse map in our system yet, we need to create it and add support for it into Logos's code. This can sometimes add several months to the schedule.
Thank you for your answer. I`m very excited for this!
This series has just had two new volumes released, and it had 128 votes on the old uservoice site. In particular: * Spiritual Classics (ed. Richard J. Foster & Emilie Griffin) * Devotional Classics (ed. Richard J. Foster & James Bryan Smith) (mind you, the above are just anthologies of excerpts, and Logos should really include the full text of the originals those are sourcing from, if it doesn't already; but...they are…
The NA29 and UBS6 will be coming out later this year. Houghton has updated Metzger's (and Omanson's) textual commentaries to match the UBS6 apparatus. I certainly hope that Logos plans to release this as well. In the U.S. it will be handled by Hendrickson. William Varner (The Master's Seminary) already received a print…
