BUG: Factbook index - people as belief systems
I was surprised to see items such as "absolute (philosophy)" under belief system as it is not a system in itself but is an element of more comprehensive belief systems. But as I could justify this stretching of vocabulary, i decided to let it slide. However, when I expanded a belief system and found a list of authors that…

Kyle, I have seen significant improvement in the Factbook relationships and data over the past year. However, given BUG? A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Vanauken
This was one of my favorite reads in my early 30s. I can't believe nobody has requested it yet. Anyone who likes C.S. Lewis should read this. "A beloved, profoundly moving account of the author's marriage, the couple's search for faith and friendship with C. S. Lewis, and a spiritual strength that sustained Vanauken after…

MJ's suspicions regarding the next major release of Logos/Verbum in the fall
Watching what has been coming through the public betas, I'm ready to predict what is coming in the next major Logos/Verbum release this fall. I know I don't have quite enough features identified so I still expect some surprises: * A more modern and user-friendly interface - think the insights sidebar and the dynamic…

The "Lives of Faith" series of reprints from HarperCollins (HarperOne)
One of these was posted over two years ago, but I've now added more from that series. It was hard to find them all, so I'm not sure if this is an exhaustive list. But here are the ones I've suggested thus far. None of these are available in Logos yet, even in other editions, except for an audio edition of Shadow of the…

A Simple Life: Roland Walls & The Community of The Transfiguration
I can't remember where I came across this book, but I had taken a photo of it to remind myself to request it in Logos, and came across that photo while clearing out space on my phone. SUGGESTION: Add additional information to the lectionary data display
I have attached a screen shot of a lectionary as provided by the Christian Reformed Church. I would like to see a similar linking of lectionary-based commentaries, sermons, and liturgical resources (prayers, collects, prayers of the faithful, hymn choices, litanies ...) Logos offers a number of these resources but has not…

The Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History
Can anyone tell me what The Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History has to say about Ignatius of Antioch and or the Gospel of John? I used the search tool on the Logos online catalog. I also tried Google books and Amazon review tabs. But this is a Lexham publication so that makes it a hard task to find samples.

Strange behaviour in UBS5
In UBS5 Mark 12:23 there is a superscript 1. In Mark 12:26 there is a superscript 2. In Mark 12:34 there is a superscript 3. Sometimes in UBS5 the superscript is a letter. Contemporary popular Pauline scholar Dale B. Martin for sale (almost)
I was thinking about popular authors Bart Ehrman, Elaine Pagels, Reza Aslan, Robert M. Price, Karen Armstrong who are all popular scholars. Which brought me to the lesser known Dale B. Martin. Another plug: Please vote for "The Land of Christ: A Palestinian Cry"
I met the author, Yohanna Katanacho, a Palestinian Christian who teaches at Nazareth Evangelical College. Factoid for Christian Alexander re: John 1:1-14
[quote]Of course, Augustine’s favorite subject within Scripture was Jesus. Because of his noted hermeneutical values, his sermons were quite christocentric. Over one thousand times in his surviving corpus of sermons, he quoted or referred to the logos passage of John 1:1–14—more than any other preacher in the early church.…

BUG? Inconsistency in Factbook contents
I clicked on an entry on the left side to open the entry on the right side - as you can see the information shown is quite different. With the similarity of the items covered by the entries, this gives the impression that the data shown for a thing is a bit of a crapshoot.

Anchors
Is this normal behavior. I am making a note and trying to anchor it multiple verses in Gen 1:1-2:3. But it does only add the anchor to chapter 1 first verse that has an anchor and then in chapter 2 again. It dies not add anchor in other sections of chapter 1.

Logos changing my saved layouts: feature or bug?
Maybe this is a bug, maybe it's just an incredibly badly thought out feature. I created a layout with this search, and saved the layout. Saving your settings

BUG? Layout does not remember column setting for the NLT
I set columns for the NLT Bible to Zero in my daily layout but when I restart Logos, it resets columns to 1.
