Wonder about feature(s) missing in Logos 4 Mac that would improve Bible Study ?
Looking at wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity appears these items primarily gathered from forum discussions would remain after Logos 4.5 stable release (assuming some buggy issues are fixed first):
Wondering what Logos 4 Mac feature parity items are most important for improving Logos Bible Study use ?
Related discussion is => Mixed signals from Logos? that is seeking Logos feedback about future feature parity plans.

Thanks for Bob Pritchett's reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/42616/319033.aspx#319033 about feature parity prognostication, looking forward to Note feature and fidelity parity across all platforms.
When Logos 4.5 stable release ships with bug fixes, wonder about requesting several Logos User Voice suggestions to be marked complete ?
=> Improve Logos 4 Mac Feature Parity with PC
=> Improve Logos 4 Mac Note Positioning
=> Logos 4 Mac Program Scaling and Font Sliders
Thankful for many Logos 4.5 Beta feature parity improvements. [:D]

Not interested in feature parity as much as seeing crippled features already present working as they should. For example, I initiated a lemma search from the right-click menu of Byzantine text of Romans 2:2 for ἄνθρωπος.
Initiated search at 01/03/2012 08:19:25
—Search completed in 1.43 seconds with 550+ hits
—However, display locks L4 for an unacceptable length of time
displayed last verse of Matthew at 01/03/2012 08:27:25
—fully 8 minutes after initiating the search
Forced quit at 01/03/2012 08/33:10
—Do not know how far the display has progressed as scrolling was inoperable
—The log shows no activity since 08:25
Restarted L4 before saving log files, and I do not wish to repeat this travail
This, and other half-finished features diminishes the value L4 Mac as a top-notch Bible Study tool.
Jack - I totally agree.
Reran the lemma search for ἄνθρωπος and allowed the display to populate while running some errands. Don't know if logs will be any help, but here they are

Wonder about follow-up in Mac Beta forum since logs have Logos 4.5 Beta 12 ?
Noticed Logos4.log has a lot of searches in Byzantine text for visual filters. Wonder if turning off visual filters affects display speed for lemma search ?

Disabled all visual filters and reran search. It now took 7:30 to complete the display of Matthew—down from 8:00. Not much help. Force quit L4 and generated new logs

Do not believe this is a beta issue. Has been here for awhile in both beta and stable releases.
Looking at wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity appears these items primarily gathered from forum discussions would remain after Logos 4.5 stable release (assuming some buggy issues are fixed first): Notably missing Handouts on Mac (future To Do) PC Notes have more capabilities than Mac, including automatic hyperlinking of scripture in notes and right click to Note item. Logos 4.3 added keyboard shortcuts and bullet usability, but still needs more improvement; Logos User Voice suggestion => Rework notes function – in one or multiple phases includes: “Implement parity for Mac version” PC Note default font in program settings works, but does not default on Mac PC Bible Search with Grid display can hover mouse over grid box to display Bible verse in a pop-up. PC mouse pointer changes to hand over Bible version header; both PC and Mac can click Bible version header to change text displayed in Grid. PC Search has pop-up with resource information when hover mouse over row in resources section, pop-up lacking on Mac PC Resource – can double click in panel between “+” and “x” to open next resource in parallel resources list, but does not work on Mac PC Scrolling in search results can be done using arrow keys on keyboard, not usable on Mac PC Text Comparison can select and copy individual verses, but Mac needs workaround using Print/Export PC Timelines has styles menu to change timeline appearance, not yet implemented on Mac Wondering what Logos 4 Mac feature parity items are most important for improving Logos Bible Study use ?
Thankful for more Logos 4.5 RC 1 improvements, appears remaining Feature Parity items are: Edit: added two items
Suspect creating and sharing Handouts (for Sermons, lessons, etc) would be most important => Handouts - What would be useful ? while Syriac ligature display is most desired by those who read Syriac.
