Do Faithlife Ebooks show up in Logos?
?

"Catholic (Spanish)" - Ongoing Oops!
Just a note that, no matter what Verbum.com or Logos.com continue to tell me, "Catholic (Spanish)" is not a discrete "Christian Group", and there's a better way to sort for those books now... except that a bunch of them aren't tagged as being in Spanish.

Can We Lower the Quality of Streaming Video?
I am trying to do a course in my free time at work. Our internet connection is not the fastest and the course video buffers so much that it is basically unusable. I was hoping that Logos would detect this and automatically lower the quality of the stream in order to be able to stream without problems. Can we manually lower…

VERBUM 9 SUGGESTION re: "liturgical ribbon"
Note: I am not the person who suggested this first. Unfortunately, I have forgotten who did. Please bring back the "Home Page" ribbon on the left from Logos 7. The card format consistently forces one to take extra steps - especially when one is looking as a reference rather than wanting to read the resource. But bring it…

URGENT BUG! -- Missing button to complete purchase transaction on final Order Summary page
Tried refreshing the page, hitting the back button in my browser and clicking "Next" again, and still it's missing the final button to complete the purchase on the https://ebooks.faithlife.com/cart/checkout page. This is using the newly updated version of Firefox (72.0.1) that was just released to fix a security flaw.…

NT203: resource no longer available to purchase
There are 28 links to Richard A. Burridge's book What Are the Gospels? but it's no longer available to purchase. So is the whole chapter about Burridge's criteria useless?

Thank you for a very helpful resources page!
I'm really impressed by the resources page for your Learning Biblical Hebrew title! Thanks for providing such a useful collection of resources! P.S. A different publisher requires you to register at their site to access supplemental information. Thanks for not requiring registration at your site!

Verbum Help Resource
Verbum Help is very useful. I've just noticed that, unlike Logos Help, Verbum Help appears in the Library as having no listed electronic publication date, publication date, publisher, subjects, or author. This seems like an accidental inconsistency.

Verbum 9 Wishlist (unofficial)
Given the events of the release of Verbum 8, I think it wise to get the Catholic needs for Verbum 9 out front early. Please post your needs - especially the pastors, seminarians, and faith formation/religious directors that are currently embracing Verbum. * Make it easy to add datatypes so that the church documents and…

SUGGESTION: useful for apologetics

References I wished I could point to when answering a forum question
There are three books by Gary Michuta that I wished I could have pointed to when answering a forum question today. Reading plan for Summa Theologica in 2 years
Summa Theologica 2 Year Reading Plan is available as a shared Reading Plan. This plan is designed to read one question a day M-F and use weekends to catch up. ATTN FL: Celebrate Recovery Resources
I noticed that FLEB has a hodge podge collection of old and new Celebrate Recovery resources by John Baker. Some resources are not in the catalog at all.…

Jewish interpretation - New Testament
Hello, please. I have a special interest in the interpretation of the New Testament, but free of mythical dogmas or fundamentalist theologies after Christianity. My focus is to find the messiah of Israel, full of humanity, not divine, fulfilling the prophecies about them. Could you indicate packages or bibliography in…

SUGGESTION for reading lists
Reading Lists is a very underused feature - partially because what appears in it is rather random. It would be useful to have some Faithlife supplied reading lists - not updatable by the average user - from sources recognized/valued by the users. For Verbum here are some lists that come to mind. *…

What was Merchant's Lecture in Broad Street, London
Hello, Happy new year I don't know where else to ask. Does anybody know what was Merchant's Lecture in Broad Street, London? Was it a lecture hall? Was it an amphitheater?, Was it a series of conferences? I'm reading many puritan books from the 17th, that are transcripts of sermons preached at that - place?, meeting?,…

Please push for implementation of named texts
From another thread In some circles, Catholics are notorious for not knowing the chapter and verse for passage but rather knowing it by name or location in the lectionary. It would be very useful to have these names recognized in Verbum. Examples: * Sermon on the Mount * Sermon on the Plain * Bread of Life Discourse *…

Lexham Journal
Lexham Press has published its own study Bible, Bible dictionary, is working on its own exegetical commentary, etc. I think it's also time for Lexham Press to publish its own journal. Die Losungen / Daily Texts (aka Moravian Watchwords) 2020
As in prior years, I'm sharing the global daily lectionary "Die Losungen" (Daily Texts, Moravian Daily Watchwords) for the upcoming year. Questions re: Catholic Topical Index
Reading documentation I ran across this: [quote]There are almost 500 topics in the Catholic Topical Index with more to come. [PB] Handel's "Messiah" libretto
More information about Handel's famous oratorio "Messiah" here. Same bug in GK091 video as in GK092
Just today Logos delivered an update to the Greek Alphabet Course GK091 (Koine Version) - while I'm normally not into that pronunciation form, I checked it out and discovered that the course video has the same bug I reported for the GK092 (Erasmian) course video back in August: the translation gloss shown in the video…

Lexham Survey of Theology - feedback
Upon delving into the Lexham Survey of Theology, I quickly noticed a couple things that, together, I had not expected, and which I consider worthy of note: 1. Out of copyright books for Verbum - Adrian Fortescue
On the Logos side, the Classic Commentaries and Studies provide inexpensive volumes ranging from very useful to meh ... I would suggest a similar set of resources in Verbum only based on authors.
