I am adding these posts to the previous tip list L/V 10 Tip of the Day ; I am running into limits on the length of posts that may make me rethink presentation. QUESTION: In the Reformed tradition, what is the threefold division of the law? SOFTWARE: An all search for reformed threefold division of law provides useful…

Fun with Logos Verbum on
Playing with the new Logos I discovered that SET VERBUM TO NO and SET VERBUM TO YES still exist and they do something. Not sure what they do yet but the minimally function. Since we can't subscribe to both Logos and Verbum I am playing with this tool again. So far so good on the forum with tags.

Quiz in Bible Memorization be verse sequential, Not Random.
Device: Desktop Operating System: Mac and Windows Feature: Additional details: The current memorization tool only allows the user to be quizzed with verses in random order. I suggest that there be an option to be quizzed in sequential order of bible verses, rather than it being random. I am trying to memorize the sermon on…

The trouble with 'Answered'
… is what if it isn't answered?? I ask a question, and it's answered. BUT, I asked poorly. I rewrite the question. But the front matter says 'Answered.' No, it's not + never gets. Or, I ask a 2nd question in tight reference to the first. It may never be answered, because the front matter says 'Answered.' And, what is :…

TIP OF THE DAY 66: Reference ranges, passage lists
Since the forum change has been delayed, I've started adding these posts to the previous tip list. See L/V 10 Tip of the Day Note that this list has been moved to the wiki (which itself is moved to the new forum software). QUESTION: What is the Yale Outline of Cultural Material? SOFTWARE: The Yale Outline of Cultural…

Attn. Bradley Re: Reading lists
Prior to the conversion, you moved my reading list for Tip of the Day from topics. to wiki. This results in the loss of the Reading List function within Logos/Verbum and converts it to a simple web page. This is not a problem for this particular case. However, it makes me wonder about the many other active readings lists…

Summarize Font Settings?
I don't see a way to set the font settings for the AI Summarize results. By default the predestined size is too large. Am I missing something? I would expect to see a way to configure this in the program settings like you can for a book or notes...

BUG: Exodus 21:15/17
The opening phrase makes it clear that what follows is God (speaker) telling Moses (addressee) what to say but it is not marked with direct speech markers when I select the whole verse ... but is marked if I choose a random word within the verse.

Need to clean up space
I'm wondering what the "Guided Learning" folder is on my Mac. I'm trying to clean up space and if it is just some class or something that I'll never use, I'd prefer to have the 13GB back. How do I go about getting rid of it? Also, is there any way to move my entire library, easily, onto an external hard drive (on my mac)?

size of text not syncing in commentaries and dictionaries
I notice when syncing commentaries (and dictionaries) the font doesn't sync. I find I have to go into each and size up the font under View. Should not these sync when each commentary and dictionary are linked? Or have I slipped off the rails and missed something obvious?

Open selected or copied Bible reference in Logos
Greetings. I imagine this has been addressed before, but I can't seem to find a forum post. If someone can assist me with this question or point me to a previous forum discussion, that would be helpful. When I select (or select and copy) a non-hyperlinked Bible reference I find online or in some document viewer, I want to…

Multiple Book Display and Marcus Aurelius
I confess a weak understanding of how to know whether two books will sync in, say, Multiple Book Display. If I understand correctly, the resources of the self-communings of Aurelius don't use a common reference system for me to accomplish this. But I'm not positive how I would confirm my notion. Can someone please…

KYLE: Data inconsistency Mt 5:48
The addressee for this passage taken from the Context Menu is Crowd at Sermon on the Mount. Yet the Theme as shown in the Clause search is Disciples. I see nothing in the text that implies that the "you" of the command is a subset of the audience. Therefore, I suspect the coding is in error.

Personal Book Builder Question
When making a personal book from a .docx file, I often find the log file indicates "[Warning] Bad character in string: 0x000A." The compiled book appears to be perfectly fine and I don't have any issues for it. But I'm curious. Anyone have an idea what this means?

Greek "Emphasize Current References" problem?
I have my Nestle-Aland linked to a series of lexicons, with "emphasize active references" turned on. User error with a setting somewhere? Unable to attach a…

Sermon Export: Light grey text
When creating an RTF of a sermon in Sermon Builder, any quoted scripture (or text marked as BlockQuote) appears in a light grey font.
