Drag-and-drop
Logos allows you to Drag-and-Drop in most parts of the application.
A few examples:
- You can highlight some text in Logos and drag a copy into Notepad or MS Word etc.
- You can drag a command from the Command Box onto the Shortcuts bar.
- You can drag selected text into a Clippings document .
- You can drag from a variety of sources into Favorites (see How do I add favorites to the Favorites window?).
- You can drag a Book to Bookmarks (see How do I set a bookmark?)
How do I Drag and Drop?
- Hover your mouse over the object that you want to Drag
e.g. selected text, a tab, a document title, resource title, guide icon or title. - Hold the left mouse button down (don’t release it).
- Move the object by moving the mouse with the left button down to where you want it placed.
- you can use the Esc key to abort the operation.
- When you get over the object where you want it placed, release the left mouse button.
- a graphical indication will help you position the object.
