Question noise in BSB
There is a large volume of unusable questions in the questions drawn from Bible study booklets. Some of these can be programmatically corrected or dropped as useless out of context. For my example I chose a passage that spans parts of 3 chapters - the same span shown in the resource on the right: * "This paragraph" has no…

Indexing tools issue
I routinely use the "rebuild index" tool as I am always wanting to make sure, well, the indexing is accurate. Generally, rebuild index, should delete and rebuild all your resource indexes. Yes, this can take minutes to hours. I noticed in 37.0.533 (admittedly I never checked before) that some resources seem to want to be…

Factbook, Biblical Passages and Outline Biblical Events - and linking to the Biblical Event Navigato
With the Factbook article for John 3, the outline tab in the Biblical Events section links to the Life of Jesus in the Biblical Event Navigator. I understand - I think - why this is the case as this is as highest level event shown in the section, but it would be more helpful (at least in my view) if if linked to a more…

BUG: Adam or Kyle you missed this: Questions re: Biblical Person record in Factbook
* The Biblical Senses content on the Abraham page makes no sense to me - it either implies I am stupid or it implies you were desperate to find something to fill the space since you lack the information available in Abraham | The amazing name Abraham: meaning and etymology (abarim-publications.com) which I personally think…

BUG: Adam or Kyle you missed this. Status of sparkline graphs in Factbook
I have been generally disappointed with Logos in the area of visualization of texts despite a few brillant recent additions e.g. intertextual chord diagram. Where have my sparklines gone ... they are a wonderful way to see at a glance which entries I wish to examine/ignore. Without them I waste a significant amount of time…

Spacebar Issues in Collections
2425.Spacebar Issues.mp4 The attached video shows me hitting the spacebar and immediately the space is deleted. It does not seem to matter how many times I hit space, it always deletes them. Ignore the deletion of the "s," that was an accident. I also added my computer info.

BUG: Using close icon does not return to the same spot on the Dashboard
New to 37.0 Beta 1. To duplicate: Open Verbum/Mac to Dashboard, scroll down and select a card to open; for example a lectionary. Once that layout opens, use the icon in the top right to close all and return to dashboard. It will close all, but return to the top of the dashboard not the position it was formerly in. This is…

Helpful AI Searches
I love the new Synopsis tool. Searching for information is much more effective and easy! I would like users to give helpful hints on searching for information in Commentaries; Theology Books; Background Info or anything else that is useful. I will start with this helpful search: What was illegal about the six trials of…

Simple AI tweak to make the Bible Study Builder tower over competitors
At the moment, there is nothing that sets the BSB apart from any of the myriad of books from which it draws. It produces lessons that are same old-same old. I think the AI interface could add questions that could truly bring the lessons "up a notch." Ask AI to build some doctrinal questions based on the use of the passage…

BUG or UNFORTUNATE CHANGE? Factbook Name record
The name record e.g. Joshua (Name) contained the Factbook labels (name+disambiguator) for all people with the personal name of Joshua. That information is now missing from the record leaving me a bit confused as to its purpose. Is the useful information going to be reinstated soon?

AI Search Summarization Mixing up Subject with Critique of Subject by author

Book production issue: Max Lucado
In tracking down why Max Lucado does not appear in the Bible Study Builder despite being what I think of as a well-known author in the area, I discovered his books have space for writing in an answer but no actual input box. Need for Dynamic Menu: Select All / Clear All in Show Notes and highlights (and any other sub-menu w
Any menu option that has a long list can be a hassle when you want to turn off a bunch of options to use only one or a few, and to turn them all on after using only a few. It can take a lot of clicks (and you know how click-adverse we users are). It would be nice for those menu options that have sections (like Reformat…

BUGGISH behavior on multipart questions
From Jensen, Irving L. General Epistles: James, Peter, John, Jude. Do-It-Yourself Bible Studies. San Bernardino, CA: Here’s Life Publishers, Inc., 1985. SUGGESTION re: questions from resources in BSB
Resources such as Nystrom, Carolyn. 1 & 2 Peter and Jude: 12 Studies for Individuals or Groups: With Notes for Leaders. A LifeGuide Bible Study. CRASH when opening Collection to edit
I suspect that the crash is not actually related to opening the collection to edit it but to my running the Bible study builder against Gen-Rev (ecumenical canon) to identify the resources actually used in drawing together the available questions. BUGS: Two errors in Bible Study Builder
I know. You built in these bugs just to see how long it would take me to complain: 1. BUG: there are no BSB questions for the deuterocanonical books. Data issues re: questions

This likely…

DATA ISSUE: Bible study builder makes bad assumption about tagging
Mind you, the assumption is necessary. It is the resource indexing that is wrong. This is a list of some of the series that most interest me…

Comments on new Bible study document (which I don't expect to use)
First, I want to say that for what you are trying to do, this is a very nice implementation of an initial cut. Pick Up Where I Left Off/Bible Study Builder--5 stars
Love the "Pick Up Where I Left Off" button on the home screen. And I'll tell you why... I primarily work in layouts. I have a layout for all the major studies/tasks I engage in.
