New Features & Improvements for Subscribers
These features require a license. If you don’t already subscribe, you can get a temporary license for the features marked with an asterisk during the beta period by becoming a follower of this Faithlife group. The license will expire when v38 is released to the stable channel.
AI Credits
- The AI credit ring will now be shown at all times in the toolbar.
Bible Study Builder
- Improved the print output for Bible Study Builder documents.
- Added a metadata sidebar for Bible Study Builder documents that contain an About section and a Leader & Occasion section.
- Bible references will now show in the search input rather then the Pericope title.
Dashboard
- Cards on the dashboard are now fully draggable.
- Renamed the “Get Started Card” to “Get Started Wizard” in the add card dropdown on the dashboard.
- Dynamic Toolbar
- Added up/down steppers to inline search.
- Added a working indicator to inline search.
- Added “Reference” as placeholder text to keep the reference navigator from being empty when a Bible location is not in a milestone.

Help Center
- Updated the header message for unavailable resource panel.
- Opening cloud or unlicensed results from the Help Center or the Library panel will now display a preview of the article or resource.
New Sermon Builder
- Improved passage blocks that are always editable.
- Improved performance for CJK languages and IME input.
- Removed Passage slide insertion button from the toolbar.
- The new Sermon Builder will not ship to stable for v38, and will remain in beta throughout the v39 cycle.

- The navigation box is no longer present in resources that have no milestones.

Bug Fixes
Application Alerts
- Corrected dark mode styling for the “There was an error communicating with the server” banner.
- Corresponding Words
- All instances of “righteousness” will now be highlighted when the “same root” option is selected and the corresponding words visual filter is turned on. Thread.
Inline Search
- The application will no longer crash when conducting an inline search with an active parallel resource that doesn’t support inline search. Thread.
Library
- The Library popup no longer closes when selecting “Prioritize books” from the Library panel menu.
Print/Export
- Margins are now preserved when printing/exporting a Sermon or Bible Study Builder document.
Program Settings
- Tooltips in program settings will no longer stay open when scrolling away.
Reading Plans
- Changing the cadence in a Reading Plan will no longer cause the panel to crash.
Resource Panels
- The left and right sidebars now remember which sidebar kind was last active when opening the panel.
macOS Bug Fixes

- Selecting a block within a Bible Study Builder document now correctly selects the entire block.

- Korean characters will no longer be duplicated when entering search queries into the inline search using an IME (input method editor).
