Name of the app
I am repeatedly confused that I can't find my Logos app whenever I look for it in my long list of installed apps. And then I remember that it's called Bible and not Logos. Why is that?

Crash in reading list, when using non-mobile bible version
Logos app 4.0.8 Android 4.1.2 Galaxy S3 Opening reading a reading list crashes the app if that list is attached to a bible version that is not licensed (#$%@!!!) for mobile use. They do not show up on the home page, but they are accessible from the documents page. Not being accessible is a problem, because it is confusing.…

Bug: Can't back out of Passage Guide
I ran a Passage Guide in the main Reading panel before updating 4.0.5 to 4.0.6; which started on the Home Page. When I navigate via "Read" I'm shown the PG but it backs out to Home and then exits with each use of the Back key. There is also a failure to start a new version of the Bible app on the last panel I was using.…

Reading plans don't move on to next section after being read
When I read a section of a reading plan and go back to the homepage the plan shows the section I have read as opposed to the next section to be read. This is with 4.0.7 beta It is updated to show the next section on the day scheduled for that reading. This means that, if I want to read ahead, I can't simply click on the…

Edited Reading Plans not showing up
Not sure if this is really a bug or not, but figured I'd report it. I'm part of a men's discipleship group and as a part of that we're reading through chapters of Grudem's Systematic Theology. For the week's reading I've created a reading plan, which works fine the first time & it shows up on the home page as a new reading…

Adding hyperlinks to verses within notes / documents
I admit that I am not well versed in searching this blog, so I may have missed the discussion. Is it possible to add hyperlinks to Bible verses within notes? I have not used my desktop version in a while but I used to type a reference in the note and it became a hyperlink to what verse. That would be very useful for…

Feature Suggestion: Saved Layouts
Love the beta app... I bought a Kindle Fire HD exclusively for reading Logos - best purchase in quite some time. I find myself wishing there were saved layouts akin to the desktop app. Right now I find myself switching between: 1. NASB top, BHS bottom 2. NASB top, NA27 bottom 3. Reading book X top, NASB bottom 4. Reading…

Great new "recent verses"
I've just noticed the "recent verses" are on the same screen with verse picker, very handy, better than v2.6. And now, I can pin some verses as favorites! Great! Great! Excellent job! Thanks!

Inconsistent icons
At top left of the home screen there are 2 icons: 1. Magnifying glass: but do not open the search screen. Instead, it's for writing the verse. 2. A group of horizontal lines: it opens a reduced version of the verse picker. Inside a bible, when selecting the verse picker (icon with a group of horizontal lines), it has the…

Split panes and links - getting wearysome..
I usually have my Lectionary in top pane and a bible in the bottom pane, however, if my default bible is closed and I open link the lectionary closes as default bible opens in the active pane, but I would rather to force it opening in the second pane, and keep lectionary/book open please consider allowing us the equivalent…

The Case of the Disappearing Verse Picker
* Open Bible * Touch the Verse in the top right to open the Verse Picker/TOC * Swipe left to Contents * Swipe left to Recent * Swipe right, all the way back to Verse The verse picker is gone. Doesn't matter if choosing book, chapter, or verse; all the selections disappear. They do not disappear if you only swipe left once…

Bible Word Study results
When searching a bible word study (in greek), the results are from a translation AV 1823 instead of my preferred bible. Maybe I need additional resources I don't have in my library? Or is this search always give me results only on this translation? Also, Example of uses are all in another Bible (in English) instead of my…

Button size of "..." in "small tablet" or "tablet" split screen mode
When using the margin size of "small tablet" or "tablet" and in split screen mode, the resource which is on the bottom half of the screen displays a button with "..." on the right of the "book panel controls". This button is quite difficult to hit when configured as explained here. The semicircle that is used to configure…

Prefer old arrangement of books in Verse Picker
... because I don't have to scroll so much nor depend absolutely on the canonical order of books. With old style I could scan the columns and rows much more quickly.

Shortcut on kindle
I am running this on the Kindle Fire HDX and the installation doesn't create a shortcut on the carousel, nor in the apps screen. I have to use a file manager to launch the app directly. I've tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling and the problem persisted so I don't think it was a one off install problem.

Pop up Verses not showing all of verse
IDK if this was on the list to look at, but when you click on a hyperlink for a Bible verse in the reading pane, it will only show three lines or so of the reference, not the whole thing. If its 2 or more verses, it isn't worth the pop up, I just jump to the reference. Otherwise loving the elegance!!

Text Compare == Reader
If I'm in Text Compare and select "Reader" from the nav drawer it does nothing. I understand that the Text Compare is likely the Reader from an implementation perspective, but from a user perspective I would expect it to take me back to the last non-Text Compare view.

A few thoughts on the 4.0.5 beta
To specify, everthing is related to: 4.0.5 beta Android 4.1.2 Samsung Galaxy S3 First of all I am thankful for being a beta tester, and generally speaking I think this update of the android app is just great. It feels much more like a complete application now. Gone is the confusing navigation from the previous version, and…

Bug or Design
Currently I have a reading plan that reads from the BHS and the LXX from the book of Leviticus. I have a note that has a link to another Scriptural text. Nexus 7(2013) Android 4.3 The New Location scroll bar is nice, but PLEASE can we have option in settings to hide it, personally find it obtrusive and annoying, plus it affects the text under it, for me with the normal verse navigation - looks good but will never use…

Design suggestion: Links default to 2nd pane when split
When using the app in split pane mode, I would suggest that when tapping on a link (be it Scriptural or not), the linked book or reference be opened in the other pane. That way you can continue to look at the text where the link occurs, but read the newly opened link reference as well.

4.0.4 Blank Bible Word Study

Am I missing something?
I don't want to complain (any more than I have already), I am just a bit bewildered. I guess I just don't see this is such a big…

Some Guide frustrations
I think I solved the first frustration which was opening a Guide in the other panel i.e. have it partially open.
