Canvas Tool
- Added a freehand drawing tool.
Cloud Resources
- Added the ability to download and remove resources on demand. Resources remain listed in the Library when not downloaded, and can be opened in preview mode.
- Added the ability to search Cloud Resources in Everything and All Resources Basic Search when online.
Go Box
- Contents entered into the Go Box are now cleared upon commit.
- Using the word “study” with a topic will provide suggestions for the “Topic Study Layout”.
- Using the word “study” with a topic will provide suggestions for the “Passage Study Layout” if the term intersects with a pericope.
- Using the word “study” with a Bible reference will provide suggestions for the “Passage Study Layout”.
- Improved Go Box suggestions based upon a user’s most frequently selected choice. Thread, Thread
- Added support to open the Theology Guide to a specific topic.
- Opening the Topic Study Layout from the Go Box no longer requires the prefix Open topic to. That is, you can now study a topic just by entering a word in the Go box.
- Added a new Set preferred Bible to [resource title or abbreviation] command to the Go Box. Users can add shortcuts for specific Bible translations can to the shortcuts menu for quick access.
Home Page
- Added the ability to open a Lectionary to a specific date from a Lectionary Home Page Card.
- Added the “Excerpts” option to the Explore section to the Home Page.
- Added the “From Your Library” option to the Explore section to the Home Page.
Installer
- Added a new first time installation dialog that will allow users to install a subset of their library.
  - Selecting “Minimal” will download all datasets and only a few resources.
  - Selecting “Recommended” will download all datasets, a predefined set of resources from the user’s largest Logos 8 base package, and the user’s prioritized resources.
- A screen to choose Preferred Bible will be shown if one has not already been set.

Logging
- Added new logging to track when resources are removed. This is cumulative rather than for each session.
  - On macOS the file is in the default logging folder.
  - On Windows the file location is in the Faithlife folder which is found by entering %localappdata%\Faithlife\Logs\Logos into the address bar in File Explorer.
Notes Tool
- Improvements to the Bulk Actions pane.
- Renamed the “Data Type” facet as “Reference”.
- Note icons in resources now open the Notes tool filtered to the notebook the note belongs to.
- Added the ability to switch between two notes views.
- Added the ability to open a notebook from the Notebook button in the Notes Editor.
- Added the ability to send the content of a note to a Sermon Document.
- Added new shortcuts to the Notes Tool.
  - N – Creates a new note and opens the Notes Tool.
  - H – Applies the last used highlighting style (i.e. it behaves like CTRL/CMD+K).
  - R – Removes annotations.
- Added the Notebook title to note indicator tool tips.
- Added a setting for default font size for Notes in Program Settings.
- Added notes results to the “Your Documents” search section and the “Your Content” guide section.
  - Notes Tool content must be indexed before search results show up. Any edit to a document or Notes Tool note will schedule document indexing.
Program Settings
- Added a new “Automatically Download New Resources” setting to the application Program Settings.
Reference Box
- Resources with Greek and Hebrew headwords will automatically untransliterate text typed into the active reference box (without the need to type a g: or h: prefix).
Workflows
- In the Notes tool, clicking the link for a workflow anchor now opens the workflow to the specific step.
- Note icons in workflows now open the Notes tool filtered to the notebook associated with the workflow.
- Added a preview of workflow questions to the note anchor.
- Added print/export support to the Workflow panel.
- Added a “Collapse All” and “Expand All” context menu items.
- Added a link to the related notebook to the workflow panel menu.

Known Issues

First Run Dialog
- In some situations not all prioritized resources get downloaded after choosing the “Recommended” bundle.
- Clicking on “Skip” at the Preferred Bible Screen step will launch the application. Until this bug is fixed users can click “Continue” to proceed.
- In some circumstances the Preferred Bible Screen will show up for accounts that already have a Preferred Bible selected.
My Library
- Obsolete resources may be visible in your library instead of being correctly hidden (for example, you may see both LLS:gs_torreywhat and LLS:WHATBIBTCH instead of just LLS:WHATBIBTCH).
Program Settings
- Dataset resources will not respect auto download resources application settings.

- Fixed a potential crash when adding text to a Canvas document.
- Fixed incorrect styling for BK cards.
