New Features & Improvements for Subscribers

In-App

After subscribing, a notification bar will provide additional guidance while your features download.

Search

If you’re not a subscriber, you have free preview use of smart Bible inline search, which consumes one of your free uses of Smart Bible Search.
Smart inline search will auto-switch to Precise search when that’s a better option for a specific query (e.g. the query uses advanced syntax).
Once an inline search has been run, you can “Send to Search”, which will run the search from scratch (uses additional AI credits) and provide results in order of relevance.
If you send search results from the Search panel to Inline search (in the panel menu), we do not re-run the search and there’s no additional credit use.
Inline searches from the context menu will continue to use "precise" search.
If you’re offline, smart inline search won’t be available, and you’ll be notified of this in a banner.

New Tab

Added screen reader and keyboard navigation support.
Already open panels will not show up in the Everything list.
Shift+Click will now open items from New Tab in a floating window.
Cmd/Ctrl+Click will now open items from New Tab in a new panel.

Other Improvements for All Users

Books

The hover tip for Bible references is clearer when the source and target references use different Bible versemaps.

Notification Icon

Updated the color of the notification icon in the main nav to match the avatar icon.

Rich Text Editors

Right-clicking in a text box that isn’t a rich text box will no longer have a “Paste without formatting” option. Example, resource reference picker (John 1:1).

Search

Switched to precise due to being offline should take precedence over other notifications.
Preferred Bibles will now be respected when parsing Bible references.
If you’re not a subscriber, you have free preview use of smart Bible inline search, which consumes one of your free three gratis uses of Smart Bible Search.

Factbook

When you don’t have an active subscription, the People, Places, and Things section will now show limited results, along with a link to “Unlock more with a Logos subscription".
Non-subscribers now get the new UI, header, and Key article sections as subscribers.
Factbook lenses are now available for all users.

Bug Fixes

Application

The application will no longer sometimes crash when exiting the application while it’s still syncing.
Eliminated memory leaks when running the application with accessibility turned on.

Guides/Workflows

Text entered in the reference box will no longer be truncated.

In-app

Dragging the IAP modal to another monitor will now properly fit in the modal.
When setting your UI language to Chinese, both the landing page and the cart will now be localized.
The IAP modal will no longer clip the "Start Subscription / "cancel" button when using a display that meets the minimum size requirements.
The application will no longer crash after subscribing and attempting to open a feature before restarting the application.

Notification Icon

Notification count will no longer be inflated by 1 if monthly AI credits have been used.

Notes

Tables are not officially supported in notes, but can sometimes be added on the mobile app when pasting from a resource. If so:
- Note save failures will no longer crash the app or save a note within a table.
The Notes Tool does not open blank anymore after moving/deleting synced preferences.
Pasting a local link inside the Notes tool and clicking on the local link will now open the corresponding file.

Parallel Text Menu

Added the keyboard shortcut text to display in the Parallel Text Menu. (Multiple Books View)

Resource

The application will no longer crash if you open certain resources unowned.

Sermon Builder

Language-specific quotation marks will now be used.
Outlines copy-pasted from Notes will no longer have extra empty lines added.

Visual Filter

Applying a Visual Filter to a parallel text resource no longer applies that filter to the added parallel text.

macOS Bug Fixes

Command Box

The Go Box dropdown will now have more vertical padding and a loading spinner to match behavior shown on Windows.
The autocomplete loading spinner will no longer shift down when searching repeatedly.

Library

Clicking on the resource cover in the Library will now open the resource.

Windows Bug Fixes

Installation

Fixed an issue where uninstalling the app would not uninstall some Logos-included tools.

Sermon Builder

Inserting a sermon title using an incomplete Korean IME will no longer duplicate the title in the header field.
Extra characters will no longer appear in the editor when text is dragged in from the Notes panel.

Known Issues

Spellcheck

On Windows, various app features with spellcheck enabled, like Notes and Sermon Builder, may show a spelling error indicator without offering correction suggestions.
