New Features & Improvements for Subscribers
Study Assistant
- You now have the ability to edit a request within Study Assistant.
- You can now choose to copy your conversation by clicking on the “copy all” button.
Sermon & Bible Study Markers
- Sermon & Bible Study markers are now available on iOS, showing clickable icons and margin ribbons in Bibles where sermons or Bible studies are tagged to specific passages.
- These can be toggled on/off in View Settings, and more information on the associated documents can be found in the Insights menu.
Other Improvements for All Users
Study Assistant
- You can now try Study Assistant for free a limited number of times each month.
Insights
- We’ve redesigned Word Lookup cards to help you better understand words in non-biblical resources—just long-press any word to try it out.
- Known issue: On Android, Word Lookup cards include a toggle between dictionary and encyclopedia views that is not yet available on iOS.
Dashboard
- The Study Assistant search bar is now available on the dashboard. It works very similarly to how the Smart Search bar used to. Simply type your question into the text box, hit “Ask” and the Study Assistant tool will open up and automatically start searching for information to answer your questions.
- Tapping the “Ask” button with just the placeholder question text will execute and a Study Assistant panel will open.
Search
- Unauthenticated users are now prompted to sign in or create an account when saving search results to a Passage List.
Bug Fixes
Insights
- Fixed a regression where expanded Insights sections were not persisting across selections.
Reading View
- The top tile on iPad now correctly remains visible when using a physical keyboard.
- Note indicators in resources now resize appropriately when changing the text size.
Reference Scanner
- Fixed Reference Scanner showing text from the wrong verse map with German Bibles.
Search
- Creating a passage list from inline search results now correctly includes the expected verses.
Study Assistant
- Tapping "Ask a follow up question" in Factbook now correctly populates Study Assistant with the new question.
- The context menu in the Study Assistant history sidebar now displays with the correct font size.
- You can no longer save a conversation name that consists entirely of empty spaces.
- Scrolling the history sidebar now dismisses open menus in Study Assistant.
