New Features & Improvements for Subscribers
Study Assistant
- Author Filtering:
- You can now filter by author within the collection picker. Author sorting works just like any other filter in the collection picker. Selecting an author, Study Assistant will only use books from that author to inform its response. Much like it will only search books within a collection if you have a specified one.
Other Improvements for All Users
Reading Plan Creation Wizard
- The Reading Plan Creation Wizard is a guided, step-by-step experience that replaces our old, document-heavy workflow. We’ve transformed plan creation into a streamlined process that helps you integrate Scripture into your daily lives without the friction of manual configuration.
- The creation process begins by defining exactly what you want to study, whether that is a specific Bible passage range or another book from your library. Once the content is selected, the wizard leads you through a goal-oriented setup. Instead of manually mapping out every session, you simply decide how you want to measure your progress, whether that’s committing to a daily habit like "15 minutes a day," aiming for a specific deadline, or choosing an open-ended pace that lets you read as you are able while the system keeps your place.
- To get started, select Reading Plans from the Documents panel. Alternatively, use the toolbar to navigate to Formatting > Reading Plans > Make new reading plan, or initiate one via the Tools tab.
Reading Plans
- A visual refresh of the existing reading plan visual filters is now available, and is unified across all platforms.
- Reading banners now feature dynamic text to track your plan's progress.
- End banners provide clear updates on your next scheduled reading, session completions, and completing a full reading plan.
- Reading banners include approximate reading duration. The top banner covers your entire session, while the end banner includes the time for any remaining readings within the session.
Study Assistant
- Saving a Study Assistant conversation to Favorites will now link to that specific conversation.
- Citations from unlicensed resources will now include a tooltip indicating the resource isn’t licensed with a buy badge.
- Study Assistant collection picker will now reset its state any time the picker is collapsed.
- Improved the minimum width in the collection picker for more narrow panels.
- If you click on a deleted conversation, a message will now say “This shared conversation is not available”.
- Opening a shared conversation now open to the very beginning.
