Logos 5.1 Beta 2 (5.1.0.0872) was released on March 13, 2013.
Important Note: Upgrading from 4.6c Beta 2 to 5.1 Beta 2 will fail. This will be fixed in Beta 3.
New Features
- Importing
- Implemented support for importing Sermon Files from Libronix DLS. To import sermon files enter ‘Import Sermon Files’ into command line.
- Running the command to import Sermon Files will:
- Create a new folder called ‘Imported LDLS3 Sermons.’ This folder will be located in the Documents folder on Windows and the Home folder on Mac.
- Generate a .docx file for each imported sermon, and place these files in the new ‘Imported LDLS3 Sermons’ folder.
- Create two stubs in Personal Books panel, one for Sermons and one for Illustrations. These will be titled ‘Sermons of [user name]’ and ‘Illustrations of [user name].’
- Populate stubs with .docx files generated.
- To build Sermons or Illustrations personal book after running import command, select generated stub in Personal Books panel and press ‘Build book’ button.
- Library
- Implemented ‘Collections’ section in the info pane which will display hyperlinks for the Collections of which the selected resource is a part. (See Known Issues for Mac.)
- Read Aloud
- Implemented changes to Read Aloud function in preparation for Audio Resource availability.
- Implemented voice picker in panel menu. ‘System Narrator’ will be the only voice available for resources without dedicated audio. (See Known Issues for Windows.)

- Fixed bug which caused morph terms to appear duplicated.

- Fixed bug which caused spacing issues when using margin lines. (See this thread.)

- ‘At Startup Open to’ has been changed to a local setting.
- Fixed bug which prevented layout name in program title bar from updating when the active layout title was edited. (See this thread.)

- Added ‘more>>’ link in Tags and Cloud views for Topics and Illustrations sections.
- Personal Books
- Fixed bug which prevented headings using Bible datatype syntax from being recognized in the TOC. (See this thread.)

- Fixed crash when selecting ‘Bibliography only.’
- Fixed bug which could cause blank pages to export when printing from LLS:KAIROSGRAM.
- Read Aloud
- Fixed bug which did not display the panel menu option correctly when playing the Greek Audio New Testament audio. (See this thread.)
- Rich Text
- Implemented triple-click support. Triple clicking will select the entire paragraph.

- Fixed bug which caused suggestive text to only show Greek examples. (See this thread. See Known Issues for Mac.)
- Fixed bug which prevented ‘participant:’ queries from displaying all results in Analysis view.

- Improved input text box by specifying maximum width.

- Fixed bug which caused ‘more >>’ link to display too high in See Also ribbon.
- Fixed bug which prevented Cmd+G keyboard shortcut from putting focus in the query box.

- Fixed bug which did not hide other controls when ‘Save as named layout’ textbox was opened.

- Fixed bug which caused incorrect cursor to be displayed when hovering over scroll bar. (See this thread.)
Known Issues for Mac
- Library
- Clicking a Collections hyperlink in the info pane will not dismiss the Library panel.
- Search Panel
- Clicking the arrow button to initiate a search does not dismiss the suggestive text drop down menu.
- Search Panel Clause
- The panel must be reloaded after changing resources before the suggestive text will switch to the correct language (either by switching to a different search type and back or opening a new Search panel).
Known Issues for Windows
- Read Aloud
- Panel manu option for Read Aloud is formatted incorrectly.
- Certain resource locations will display ‘Audio Player’ instead of the reference in the audio controls.
